CHEERS! #drawing #art #horror #tutorial #fyp | 3,9 k | – | x | 266 | sam. 3 oct., 20:28 | 14 | 15 | alright enough of that I'm gonna show you how to draw this realistic style in just three easy steps and I'll explain it to you as if you're 9 years old and to make sure you understand it better here's the part of the reference I'll be working on step one make sure you have three to four tones of one colour depending on what you're drawing for example the creature I'm drawing is red so I'm just gonna look for three to four tones that best match the reference once that's out the way you're gonna Wanna start with the lightest colour and create a light based layer until it looks a little patchy like this it means it's time for the next tone step two take your next darkest tone and go medium to light pressure I usually use circular motion to fill in the white dots and increase saturation when it looks like this you'll know it's time to move on to 3 you want to grab your darkest tone use medium to light pressure again but this time do it until the white spots are barely visible this is how you get that exaggeration oh bonus step you're gonna need a gel pen for this part but highlights are one of the keys to making this style pop alongside contrast the pen tip is bulky so you're gonna be fighting accuracy to get the highlights right oh don't worry too much about that part just wait for the ink to dry it only takes a few seconds and after that you can tag at it with a colored pencil to make the angles way more precise now after all that hard work this is the final result did I or did I not tell you this is gonna be easy anyways if this video gave you any type of value or you learn something new please consider subscribing liking following sharing all that good stuff and if you want to see more just uh do all that | 1:19 | drawingarthorror | original sound soloarts
Can crayolas make pro blending?! #drawing #art #coloredpencil #howtodraw #tutorial | 18 k | – | x | 1,1 k | ven. 2 oct., 18:41 | 28 | 18 | How smoothly can Crayola colored pencils actually blend? Now, you've probably used these in school a million times, but there's just one problem. Press too hard, and good luck blending that. So to fix this, I'll stick to using light layers only. Doing this is going to help the colors feel more natural and look a lot more expressive. This is the same technique I use for even my best drawing, so hopefully it's hard for you guys to tell the difference as I continue the drawing. I started to get a bit bit more confident as I progress, as I continue to seem like the best way to get these pencils to flow was going from darkest to light. Actually super shocked at how good this is looking. The drawing looks good, but I need something that's gonna make it stick out a lot more than what it already is, and the only way I can think to do that is adding one thing. A black background. So I grabbed my ruler and started sketching out the box and filling it in. Was probably the most satisfying part about this entire process. Alright, so before I show you guys the finished drawing, the crazy part to know about this is unless I told you it was Crayola, like, drawn with Crayola, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Bro, like, look at it in the light, bro. Looks like it was made with prismacolor. Like, bro, need I say more. So, yeah, guys, I hope this answers the question. You don't need to spend a trillion fucking dollars on color pencils to make drawings like that. Oh, like that? Just, um, bro, light layers, color assortment, all that. If you guys like this video and want to see more, like, share, follow and subscribe. And if you don't, you already know. Um, yeah, bro. So just let me know in the comments what else y'all wanna see. | 1:29 | drawingartcoloredpencil | original sound soloarts
I tried drawing with CHEAP pencils… #drawing #coloredpencil #art #howtodraw #tutorial @Crayola | 37 k | – | x | 2,5 k | lun. 28 sept., 16:40 | 64 | 55 | You can still make good art with cheap colored pencils, right? I wanted to test this theory, so I spent $7 on the cheapest brand I could find. So let's test and see if Crayola is really as bad as you might think. Starting off, I knew that using light layers and motion control is going to be the best way I could pull real results from these pencils, because Crayola isn't like the other expensive brands where blending feels like pulling plastic off a brand new TV. But I'm still very surprised at how good this is starting to look now that I've adapted the technique. That seems to work. All I had to do from here was just keep stacking layers, but there was one major issue. Alright, so it's looking pretty good, but I can't find a dark red for the mouth, so I'm just gonna use a brown and a red. Getting these pencils to just blend was all already an issue, but now I had to create a whole new tone for them. After some careful layering, I think I pulled a result that was worth the time. And speaking of time, I got bored, so I decided to go on a walk and get some fresh air before the grind continues. Tell me the key is not fine. Now that we're back to it, I've basically tamed the skill necessary to make these pencils look like they cost just as much as my damn Light Bill, $100. You better get this shit. Look on the bright side. At least we got the character done. watch how contrast makes this drawing look like a real life picture. Isn't it amazing, people? So we answered the question for today's video. Um, yes, you can make cheap color pencils. You can make really good art with cheap color pencils. Um, you're not in the. Each of our videos, guys, we do this brief intermission. And you know, I'm saying, I hope that this video give you guys some value, provided some good value. Hopefully you Learned a thing or two, hopefully you get better with your skills. And if not, don't worry, I'll be here to help and teach you. You know I'm saying? So. Yeah, I know, bro. Y'all gotta, like, follow, share, subscribe. And you know, I'm saying, for easy. Time out. | 1:40 | drawingcoloredpencilart | original sound soloarts
I tried the most expensive colored pencils… #drawing #coloredpencil #art #howtodraw #tutorial | 88 k | 3.7× | x | 7,7 k | mar. 22 sept., 22:04 | 99 | 156 | Colored pencils don't affect your drawing right? Now, I wanted to find this out, so I spent $275 on the best color pencil brands. So let's see which one's the best and what they can do. Rank one, Prismacolor colors. Now, this brand is like the face of color pencils. It has a really smooth blend, the wax is pretty soft, and it has some of the best transition. This is getting a solid 8 out of 10. Rank two favorite Castle Poly chromes. Now, these pencils didn't have the craziest blending. They were pretty rough and hard to transition colors. Pretty off considering they were $200. But these are hardcore pencils, so what they really excel at is fine point details and drawings like this. But overall, I would rate this 7 out of 10. Rank 3 the Derwent Chroma flows. Now, these pencils have a good amount of colors, but they feel a bit rough and don't blend nearly as smoothly as Prismacolor colors. And the color palette is pretty cold. But that's okay, because it makes drawings like this pop out. 5 out of 10. Now that we got those tests out the way, what if I told you there was a secret color pencil that beats all. All of them? Quran Dashay. And instead of talking your ears off on why this pencil is the greatest of all time, I'll let the art speak for itself. So let me show you all why this one's the Best Oke. Hopefully, with this new found knowledge, you guys will know what to spend, uh, all your money on with colored pencils. So be sure to, like, follow, share, subscribe, all that good stuff. We'll be dropping more soon. Big color pencil mess. | 1:24 | drawingcoloredpencilart | original sound soloarts
Which sketchbook did YOU! Prefer?? #drawing #coloredpencil #art #howtodraw #tutorial | 405 k | 23.6× | x | 53 k | sam. 19 sept., 21:02 | 243 | 898 | The paper you use does not affect your drawing, right? To find this out, I spent $12 on three sketchbooks so you don't have to. And here's what each one did the best in. Rank 1 blue tone paper when it comes to vibrant colors, this paper is like waking up to a payday off bro. It's actually insane how good the this look on it. It does a fairly good job at making it look like the drawing is also popping out the paper as well. The texture also holds up pretty well, but after you blend over some layers it does look a little scratchy. This is getting a 4 out of 10 rank to gray toned paper. Oh my days. Bro, this paper is like the equivalent of finding $100 in your car seat when you're rock bottom. The colors are just as beautiful and almost as vibrant, but blue tone probably takes it by a heartbeat. I feel like the gray tone paper is literally perfect for smooth blending and getting those colors just posed to each other. It definitely beats the blue tone paper in the detailing department for sure. This gets a solid 6.9 out of 10. Rank 3 tone tan paper before we get into scale this tone tan paper, we have to know how to properly scale it, and the best way I can describe it before you, the viewer, sees it is I just want you to think of what the Word happiness means, like. Picture the word happiness and you'll see what I'm talking about. But roll the clip. I don't like sand. It's coarse, rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere. Not like you. You're everything I saw. I love you. You love me. I thought that we had decided not to fall in love. That we would be forced to live a lie. The easiest 10 out of 10 of my life. Everything that the other two papers did, this paper just did better. Like, just. There wasn't even a comparison. It was just better cause it just simply was like, I just. I can't even, like, verbally just give it to you in digestible bites of like, where this. This paper just scales, bro. Like, I don't know, bro. But I hope you guys enjoyed the video. Took a minute to make. Um, you know, like, follow, share, subscribe and. I don't know, bro. Shit. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? We just. We gonna be back. | 2:24 | drawingcoloredpencilart | original sound soloarts
Did these tips help you?! #drawing #coloredpencil #art #howtodraw #tutorial | 99 k | 4.2× | x | 7,6 k | jeu. 17 sept., 21:19 | 40 | 236 | If you're an artist who draws fur like this, it's over. No, I'm just playing. I'll show you how to make it look like this. Step one. Grab three to four tones of the same color, starting with your lightest tone, your mid tone, and your dark tone. Start coloring with your lightest shade. And don't worry. But the details. It. We're just building the base. Step two, add your mid tone and blend it into that first base. Now pay attention to the contrast. If it looks like this, you know you're doing it right. Now this is where the first starts to come alive, so I need you to focus up. Step 3. Grab your darkest tone and use controlled brush strokes with light pressure. You'll know exactly when to stop. Once the fur looks a lot more full and thicker, use this as an example. But it doesn't just stop there, because you can use darker tones and lighter tones to make the fur appear even more detailed than what it already is. Now this looks way better than before. I’ll teach you to color like a pro #drawing #art #coloredpencil #howtodraw #tutorial | 74 k | 3.1× | x | 5,4 k | dim. 13 sept., 20:09 | 59 | 133 | If you're an artist who uses color pencils but your blending looks like this, I'll help you fix that. So here's how to really transform your art. Step 1 grab three colors of the same shade from darkest to light. This means dark tone, mid tone, and light tones. Step 2 Mark down your pressure from light, medium, and hard. Never use hard pressure unless you want to make a mess. And use light and medium pressure for pro level blending. Step 3 first start with your darkest color and use medium pressure to build it up and do increase pressure as you go down. Then use your mid color and use medium pressure. Make sure you start coloring inside the bottom of the previous color just so you keep a flow. Keep going with that same pressure until the color starts to look really smooth. Repeat the exact process but with the lightest color and you should get something like this. I use the same process in my regular drawings, Darkest, Medium, and light. So if you want more tutorials just like this, subscribe! | 0:42 | drawingartcoloredpencil | original sound soloarts
Drawing!… but I can only blend💔 #drawing #art #artchallenge #artprocess #fyp | 9,7 k | – | x | 436 | mer. 2 sept., 21:29 | 4 | 0 | Let's try drawing. But I can only blend with markers. To test this, we'll be drawing one of the greatest cartoons. Now, I've never made gradients with markers, but I do know it's best to go from darkest to light. And as I use the middle color, I started to see just how good blue can. Until I seen how hard it was to blend the lightest blue. So I just kept adding layers and hoped it turned out pretty good. And seeing how this artwork held up so far, I was confident this was gonna be a pretty clean drawing. | 0:20 | drawingartartchallenge | original sound soloarts
I tried drawing Spiderman on a pizza box! #drawing #spiderman #artchallenge #markers #fyp | 9,7 k | – | x | 558 | dim. 30 août, 20:55 | 22 | 7 | What better way to make one of the greatest Spider Man drawings on a box of pizza? Alright, maybe it's not that good because I don't use markers and I never drawn on cardboard. Trust the process. I started off coloring with a light layer of red and it honestly didn't feel too different from the coloring paper. But cardboard is just a bunch of paper in one, so not much of a surprise there. After that lighter layer was finished, I moved on to the next darkest red so we can make this drawing look a little more 3D. And I had gotten a better idea using a white colored pencil for some dynamic highlights. This actually does not look all that bad. Once I colored the head pretty nicely, it wasn't all that hard to replicate the same shading style for the rest of the body. Which was a please lie, because when I use darker tones on a bigger surface area, it just became much more of a challenge to get these colors to blend correctly. Who knows, maybe the cardboard just wasn't letting the alcohol markers dry up fast enough. So while I let that sit, I just decided to do the rest of the highlights. And towards the end of the drawing, I thought it'd be a pretty cool idea to add the outline to make this drawing pop out even more. And after an hour or two, this is the final result. And honestly, This is way better than I expected. Here's a before and after of the drawing. So if you like this, consider following, liking, subscribing, all that good stuff. | 1:03 | drawingspidermanartchallenge | original sound soloarts
Not bad for a first try👀! #drawing #art #artchallenge #markers #fyp | 14 k | – | x | 726 | ven. 28 août, 00:04 | 18 | 8 | Challenging myself to make a drawing using only one color red. But here's the plan. I'll be drawing a character, you know, and a color they've never been. Not to mention, I've never actually used markers before, so let's just see how well I do. The main thing I can remember about these is they work in layers. So with the first layer, we're just gonna start with the lightest red, then a darker tone red, so we can apply some detail. Now, everything seemed fine up until it was time to blend, because I didn't know any techniques, so I kind of just did anything. Yo, this shading is actually pretty good. After I was a bit satisfied, I just took those three steps and applied it to the rest of the drawing. And one of the easiest parts were that his shoes were already red, so I don't have to worry about being overly creative. On the other hand, I did have to be very precise, because now that we're approaching the end of this drawing, all I have left to do is just the line work. And if I'm being honest, this turned out way better than I thought. So if you guys wanna see more drawings like this, just let me know in the comments. | 0:44 | drawingartartchallenge | original sound soloarts

I tried drawing from my imagination!🧠 #art #challenge #drawing #rickandmorty #artprocess | 34 k | – | x | 2,2 k | jeu. 20 août, 17:48 | 53 | 49 | Whenever I get ready to draw, I usually use colored pencils, and I always have a reference. But what if I didn't? To figure this out, I'll be drawing digitally, and I can't use a single reference. And that was the least of my issues because I didn't know what I was gonna draw. Not to mention it was already super early. So I just decided to lay down and let my brain wander. And that's when it hit me. I'm pretty sure I figured out what I should draw. The art style is so simple, there's no way I'm not able to do this. Now that we have our theme, it's time to make the cleanest Rick and Morty art piece. Phase one is complete. After watching some episodes, I already had two characters in mind, and if I wanted this artwork to look really good, I needed some inspiration. Oh, my days, bro. Now it's time for phase 2. Make the drawing. So I started off with a rough sketch, making it as accurate to the characters as I possibly could. And once that portion was done, it was time to work on the background. And what better scene to pick than space? Now, up until this point, everything is going smooth, but little did I know I was gonna face the biggest challenge yet. Rendering. Bro, why is there a sign in my room? In the beginning, I thought the shading was decent, but it just didn't Satisfy me. I am not feeling this. But giving up is just not an option. As I kept coloring, I started to get a lot more familiar with rendering and picking the right colors. Peep the progress. I'm not gonna lie, this new shading technique got me feeling like a waken gojo. Everything is just starting to make sense. This color adds depth, but depth alone can't make the rendering look finished. So you multiply that highest contrast point with the base color contrast point, and when you add these two together, you get a smooth face gradient. That's the reverse coloring technique. Third and final phase, the background, which is by far the easiest, because the only thing I really had to do was just blend random colors together, and making my own little planets was the coolest part. As for the rest of the drawing, it was just small details, and after multiple hours, we just needed one last touch. Let's go. The drawing is finally done. And if you guys are still here, please, like, follow, share, subscribe, all that good stuff. And if you don't, your art is gonna look like this. | 1:43 | artchallengedrawing | original sound soloarts
It’s coming together! #drawing #art #artchallenge #colorpencil #artprocess | 13 k | – | x | 570 | sam. 15 août, 23:55 | 14 | 1 | I wanted to challenge myself by making a high quality drawing. Now, this drawing has gotten a bit easier since last time I worked on, although it's still insanely time consuming. So now that I'm working on this at noon, let's see how much I can get done. For starters, we just have to fill in this easy highlight. Then some contrast work, which is usually the harder part and probably the most. That took me the longest until I found out that none of it really compared to detailing. Been like five hours. Yeah, I think we just lay it to rest from here. But we did get a huge percentage of the drawing finished, so if you guys want to see the rest, I'll be posting it very soon. | 0:28 | drawingartartchallenge | original sound soloarts
I tried drawing REALISTIC Bowser! #drawing #art #artchallenge #colorpencil #fyp | 94 k | 4× | x | 4,7 k | mar. 11 août, 21:56 | 69 | 57 | Whenever I'm drawing something, I never really struggle. So I figured, why not just draw something really hard? Little did I know, sketching was gonna be the easiest part. Starting off with the eye, it wasn't that bad. Hold on, no, cause we cooking. But when it came to the skin, bro, just getting these colors to blend together was an entirely different issue. Because who knew you basically needed a medical degree in surgery just to draw a small detail? So then I had to speed this drawing up because time consumption was just another challenge. But one of the best things that came from hours of drawing this meant that I knew where the colors could go. So that means I can move just a bit faster. But the downside to that is the fact that this is realism. Well, either way, this drawing is gonna take a very long time. Time that I don't have for today. So if you guys wanna see a part 2 to this drawing, just let me know down in the comments. | 0:37 | drawingartartchallenge | original sound soloarts
I tried my best to draw SPIDERMAN! #drawing #spiderman #art #artchallenge #colorpencil | 18 k | – | x | 770 | sam. 8 août, 18:33 | 20 | 17 | Colored pencils don't have to look dull, right? I wanted to see if I could prove that wrong by making an artwork that jumps off the screen. So I started off by building the layers, and honestly, we were off to a good start until I realized how hard it was to blend these red colors. After years of continuous layering, we really started to see some progress, even adding blue as a nice highlight touch. But this drawing is still missing one important detail. Gradients. Now the light source has to make sense. So using pink to cover up the red was a genius idea, just like how adding white to this drawing was the cherry on top to bring in this piece to life. With that being said, what should I draw next? | 0:29 | drawingspidermanart | original sound soloarts
I made CARTOONS look 4K! #drawing #amazingworldofgumball #art #challenge #fyp | 4,2 k | – | x | 178 | mer. 5 août, 00:22 | 5 | 4 | Can colored pencils make cartoons look 4K? I wanted to find out, so I picked the best cartoon that I could think of. Hold on, no, cause why is this stuff? After I found my reference, I immediately got to work. When I got to coloring, I was a bit worried on just how I was gonna pull this off. The base colors were looking real flat, and it was just nothing impressive. Then I realized if I wanted this drawing to really look 4K, all I needed to do was build up the contrast and then go towards the highlights. Although it was working, the shady technique took forever. Seeing that we were just so close to being done, I didn't mind at all. Now that we're finishing up the final gas cloud, I think we achieved the 4K. One of the hardest things I’ve done😅 #art #drawing #artchallenge #colorpencil #artprocess | 36 k | – | x | 2,4 k | dim. 2 août, 20:38 | 36 | 37 | Colored pencils can't create light, right? I wanted to find this out, so I picked the perfect character, Boo from Mario. Now starting this drawing, everything was going according to plan. At least I thought it was, because as I drew more, he just started to look blue. Then I realized to get this light that we're chasing, we just needed to add highlights around the contrast. Now we're getting somewhere. Even adding this overglow helped it look a lot better. And that's not all, because when I added this white ink pencil to the drawing, look how it transformed it. I would consider this a success. But let me know if you guys think it looks like light. | 0:27 | artdrawingartchallenge | original sound soloarts

I know it sounds crazy, but first up we have Electro Dragon. In order to do this right, I know I had to find the best images of Electro Dragon possible. And after getting our image, I knew that sketching was going to be the only easy part. As for the coloring, that's where the real challenge starts. Because this guy has like 40 different colors of blue. Meaning this is what I have to go through when I try to match a tone. Absolutely not. With the help of some art experience and high quality materials, this made blending these colors absolutely easy. And after hours and hours of endless coloring, finally finished the drawing. In all seriousness, it has been a long time since I touched traditional art, so I didn't expect to be. It is good coming back. Stop the cap.
