‘Tis i…here to apologize #EnolaHolmesNetflix

When I said yes, I said yes to you. And then it felt like everyone was crowding in with what I must say and how I must behave and who I should invite. And, yeah, I started to feel I wasn't enough. But any doubt was never of you. Never of spending my life with you or committing to you. I'm sorry. I know I hurt you terribly.

Millie Bobby Brown tells Jay Shetty about the day her adopted daughter finally came home on ON PURPOSE WITH JAY SHETTY, a video podcast, now on Netflix #JayShetty #MillieBobbyBrown #OnPurposeWithJayShetty

Talk to me about the moment that you found out your daughter was coming home and how that feels. The process is long, um, and rightfully so. It's a great process, and, you know, in fact, it's very thorough. I would say that's probably the longest part is just getting through all of that. Getting the call. I mean, I will never forget it. It was the most surreal feeling, and yet we both knew in that moment, like that was that we'd found each other. Like, oh, my goodness, this is our girl. 100%. No doubt. We're talking to someone, another adoptive mother, and it's like you. There are two ways to have a baby. One through your stomach and one through your heart. And my girl was through my heart. And, you know, it was just the most magical phone call. And no questions asked. I, like, knew we had found our baby, and she found us. Do you have that conversation recorded? No. And I think there's something so special about it because my whole life's recorded. My husband and I will never forget those words, where we were, what we were doing, the feeling. And I think in so many ways, that is why that shouldn't be recorded. It's like, almost like you had to be there.

Everyone’s practicing their best home run call on Sesame Street ahead of the Home Run Derby ⚾️📣 The T‑Mobile Home Run Derby is LIVE on Netflix — TONIGHT at 8PM ET | 5PM PT. Special coverage begins at 7PM ET | 4PM PT. #MLBHomeRunDerby #HRDerby #MLB

Wow, we. That one's a dinger. Oh, oh, oh! Ah, it's going, it's going. It's. It's. It's out of here. That's a tater! Oh, tater! Yummy, yummy, yummy. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, I am near, but that ball is going far. Home run! Haha, yeah! Oh, wow! And you're gonna need this bird, because this one's a round tripper. No! Where you go. Wow, that's a spicy meatball. Bye, bye, little baseball. Do not forget to write. I think that ball landed on Sesame Street. Wow! Hey, wait a minute, Ernie, did you leave the lights on again? Whoopsie. Ah!

laura and mary are the best sisters in #LittleHouseOnThePrairieNetflix

I probably learn a lot faster if she were here, because she would help me. Unlike Mary, who only makes fun. Someone as slow as you would try anyone's P A T I E N C E. That's was patience, in case you didn't know. That's water all over your dress, in case you didn't know. That's enough. If you're uninterested in lessons, you can get interested in chores. Laura, go to the creek and get some water. Mary, sweep the floors. You swept them this morning. Sweep them again. She likes going down to the river. It's not even a punishment.

Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily knew it was forever after their very first date ❤️ Quarterback Season 3 premieres July 14. #QuarterbackNetflix

We went to lunch the day before the game. I don't know what it is, but it just felt different. I thought it was gonna be the Baker show, and I thought it would be all about him. And when we sat down, he quite literally said nothing about himself. He wanted to know about my family, about my job. And there was a spark. I texted my mom and sister and said, I told my college roommate at the time, I think I'll marry this guy. I'm gonna marry that girl. I went to the game the next day. They lost the game, and he had already graduated. So he ended up staying in LA and then moved in with me about three days after we met. And I was living with my two brothers at the time, so it was really kind of a frat house situation. I was the house mom. Six months later, we were engaged and never looked back. We've just Learned and grown together. Has it been pretty the whole time? Absolutely not. Early on, I tried to hold a lot of things in I didn't think that she could help me talk through football issues. But she's brought out a side of me, whether it's expressing how I'm feeling or just talking through things so I can figure out how to handle it the best way. That's been the fun part about our journey together.

Oh, my. Left, left far. Wow. And out! You think we're just gonna let you steal our fans? You're gonna have to fight us for them. That's what I like it.

Michelle Buteau's performance in #SurvivaloftheThickestNetflix >>>

You know what? We can just skip this one about kids. We don't have to, really. We are doing so good. Ask us the question. Uh, just have you thought about having kids? And, you know, where do you see yourselves down the line? That's it. We definitely see kids in our future. And you are trying to help them? I don't think so. You. You don't think so? We've been trying for a really long time, and nothing has happened. And I'm really exhausted. Just, like, living in this emotional question Mark. And I really wanna feel light and bright and happy, and I don't wanna feel insecure at all, you know? So I think I'm done. Yes, but why didn't you tell me? I don't think I knew till now. This is something we should be talking about. Well, we are talking about it right now. We are talking about it at our interview. Well, this is not a real interview. True. This is a real conversation. I shouldn't ask these stupid questions. No, no, it's not stupid. I can't run away from hard conversations with people I love. And it feels so good to speak my truth.

The year is 2005. The movie is Zathura: A Space Adventure. And the comedic performance of a lifetime is Kristen Stewart’s.

Lisa! Lisa! Go away! Are you crazy? We can't just leave her here like this! Ah! Is she okay? You guys actually set the house on fire? Whoa! Hey, hey. Just stay with us and everything will be okay. I'll never leave you. I think we're home. 으악해

Millie Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge on what's improvised in the Enola Holmes movies #EnolaHolmes3 #EnolaHolmesNetflix

Did you ever improvise a moment together that ended up in the final movie? I'm an aspiring actress and your work really inspires me. That's awesome. Amazing. I'm sure there's loads of improvised moments. Yeah, most of our banter, in fact, a lot. Yeah, pretty impressive. Me and you were talking about Enola Holmes in No. 2 punching me. Ow! Ow! Will you stop that? I can't stop. Some of those were improvised cause often it's in a script and you get the gist of what, what the scene needs to be. But rather than planning exactly when you're gonna punch somebody, it's kind of a bit more fun to leave room for the, the excitement and the spontaneity. Spontaneity, exactly. But there's definitely been more there. There will be tons that, that is, that is improvised cause often that's the best stuff. Yeah. And it's, it's often the choice that you're a bit scared of making you commit to, so ends up making the film.

The 2026 Home Run Derby, explained 📝⚾️ The T‑Mobile Home Run Derby is LIVE on Netflix — Monday, July 13 at 8PM ET | 5PM PT. Special coverage begins at 7PM ET | 4PM PT #NetflixPartner

Let's talk about how the Home Run Derby works and what it actually takes to hit a ball out of the park. The 2026 Home Run Derby has a brand new format, and while it's still eight players swinging for the fences, almost everything else will be changing. The competition used to run on a timer where you hit as many homers as possible before the buzzer, earned bonus outs, and advanced through the bracket. But balls were flying out so fast, it was hard to keep up. This year, there's no clock and no bonus rounds, and instead, hitters will get a fixed number of swings. Round one is a pool play where each player will get 20 swings total. So whether it's a home run, a swing and miss, or a ground out, every swing will count the same. The one wrinkle is if your final swing is a home run, you keep swinging until you don't hit one, and the four batters with the most home runs advance, with ties being broken by the longest Homer. From there, it goes head to head, where semi final seeding is based on Round 1 totals. So No.. 1, verse No.. 4, and No.. 2, verse number three. This round and the final are both 15 swings per player, with the same last ball rule as the first round. And if there's still a tie at the end of either of these, it goes to a three swing tiebreaker until One player is left standing, so that's the format. But now let's look at the anatomy of a home run as we gather data from every home run at the Derby over the last five years. For the most part, a home run comes down to two main things. How hard and how high the ball is hit. This chart here will show just that, with exit velocity on the x axis and launch angle going up like this. Then the darkness of each box represents how often home runs happen in these pairings. First thing to notice is this dark spot right here, where 16% of all Derby homers came in this one zone. From 105 to 109 miles per hour and 25 to 29 degrees off the bat, averaging 437 feet. Zoom out slightly and you'll see that 96% of all home runs in the data fall between 20 and 40 degrees. Below that band, even the hardest hit balls will struggle to climb over the wall. And above it, you're in Moonball territory. Need short walls or a good wind to bail you out. Now, we can call out a couple of jaw droppers. Juan Soto here in 2021, 114 miles per hour at 29 degrees off the bat, a 520 foot bomb. Or O'neil Cruz in 2025, 118 miles per hour at 31 degrees, gone for 513 feet. Last piece of the puzzle will be the shape of the park itself. Citizens Bank Park in Philly, Is hosting this year and looks like this. The foul lines are almost perfectly even at 3:30 in right and 3:29 in left, but from there, the field angles out asymmetrically. The deepest point isn't straightaway center, it's actually left center, a pocket called Monty's Angle that sits 409 feet from home plate. This shape will give lefty hitters a slight edge, pulling the ball to the shorter right field side, but the Derby has a way of making those advantages irrelevant when someone gets hot. Make sure to tune in as the 2026 Home Run Derby is live on Netflix July 13th!
