Weep worm, for the end of days is nigh. Sure. It's like Alice in Wonderland meets Luna Lovegood by way of Wednesday. Wow, look, we can see her crazy, crazy hair whilst we measure up. That looks so cool. Bust, waist, hip, 97 fret. Let's try and make her an amazing Gothic romantic dress. And I quite like that the music has changed. Oh, the yellow actually looks quite nice. What if the straps are black? Coming down. Go fabric shopping. Why is my chandelier just moved? Does it do that every time? Are we haunted? Did you see that? Elegant plum sounds like a sort of British term of endearment. I'll start to care more about the fabric than the first part because I know how much I've spent on it now. I'll go. Okay, I need to cram this in. We were working with cheap cottons before cause I love how that silhouettes kind of drawing up the side like an Hourglass. Because of the way a corset is, you kind of can't put a brooch or a flower on there without it being very nipply. I think coming right onto the velvet there is actually better. Creates more of a sort of widening feel for the hips, by the way. Fully evident that you can just say stuff with confidence. People are really being like, yeah, widen for the hips there. I have no idea what I'm saying or what I'm doing or why I'm designing them in this way. You can just literally fake it, honestly. There we go. I'm really happy with this. This looks really good. And more importantly, I think it's perfect for the character that's requested it. Achieve 100% quality on a dress. I just got an achievement. Thank you very much. Most pleasing work. I'm satisfied with this new servant, this dress. We shall slay. Quiet, both of you! I'm trying to make a friend. And they shall think me strange. I have shamed my lady. I'm gonna redeem myself a little bit from the last video. Now, I didn't think I needed any redeeming. I was quite happy with what I did. And let's actually go through the dress history of what we've done. This was our tutorial dress, because I became the subject of some mockery in my comments, and I love you for it, but we're gonna go through it now. Look, the tutorial dress, there's very little defending it. We were learning what to do. This was dress No. 2, which I actually quite like. It was belly dancer inspired with the sunset hibiscus down the sides. Dress No. 3, it's Gothic, it's fierce. It's for a funeral. And fourth, perhaps the best one we did was the respectful funeral dress. Now, I was working within the confines of it being for a funeral. I think I'm going to redeem myself today for all of those comments, but I would say, oh, yeah, this one wasn't great, but, you know, that's okay. Um, but I appreciate all of the love in the comments, and I will say I love how respectful all of the roasting was. Very politely roasted. I was, and I found it very funny. Um, so thank you.

Do you remember what a little bit of relief can feel like? Sometimes it feels like a lot, and sometimes it takes, like, not much at all to provide another human being with a little bit of relief. It doesn't cost you anything, and it takes very little effort. But to that person, it can feel like so much. You know, it really can. So I. I guess I just. I think our default setting should be to provide that relief and ease for each other wherever we can. Because the world and this life, tough enough as it is. Let's not make it harder for each other. You know, terms of buttons, what if we just have a button here and a button here? I think that would really sell what she's going for in Terms of attracting the Duke's attention. There's this new game where you make dresses, and I've never sewn a stitch in my life, but this is one of the best games to come out this year. I'm mad morph and I post about good games to play, and no AI is used to make my videos. In this game, you do everything from measure the customer to sketching the outfits and choosing the fabrics, cutting patterns in the fabric with satisfying scissor snips and placing them on the mannequin. Once you're happy with your work, you can sew it all together and find out what the customer thinks. Customers make requests, from a new work outfit for a librarian to a colourful outfit for a funeral to catch a duke's eye. Completing these requests will unlock more design options, friendships, and continued stories. Now, do I know anything about making dresses? No, but this is one of those games where you don't need to know anything in real life to play and more importantly, enjoy the game. But the good news is, if you do or you just practice, there is the depth here to get really good at it and to make amazing outfits. Personally, I was quite happy with how I did until I read the comments on my let's play and I saw what other people were making and I need to play again and practice. If this game is your kind of thing, it's a must play. And it's got overwhelmingly positive Reviews on steam for a very good reason. It's called dressmaker.

In this video, I'm gonna be designing and making dresses while you fall asleep. From sketching the outfits and choosing the fabrics to sewing it all together and seeing if the customer is happy. You must be the new dressmaker. I saw your advertisement in the Town Herald last week. I'm sure you're already drowning in commissions. No, I don't have any commissions just yet. Really? Does that make me your first client? What an honor for me. My name is rose, and I'm the town's librarian. It's very nice to meet you. Just so happens you've opened your shop at the perfect time, because I desperately need a new dress for work. This outfit's cute as it is for a little rose, isn't it? Look at our cat. You can pet them. Oh, wait, I didn't read what she was saying. Could you make me a new dress that's appropriate for work and won't stand out too much? She's a librarian, isn't she? I'm just looking for something simple and elegant. I can offer you 200 for the job, except commission. Which is our tutorial. I got excited and clicked on the cat, but it's, um. She was telling us that she's a librarian and wants something professional, I believe, as I had done this a while ago in the test just to see how the game was working. Before you can design a dress, you need to measure your client. Drag the measuring tape onto the client's body to take measurements. Here we go. So we've got to measure the waist. We hold that on there, we get a measurement of 68.8. Measure the hips, I guess at the widest point, 95.8. And the bust is 86.4. Okay, all measurements. Oh, wait, it readed the waist there. I didn't mean to pull that down. 68.7. I love that. I love how involved it is. Your style, choice of fabric, and overall execution determine how happy your client will be. Change your design by clicking the arrows next to each component. So this is when we actually get into designing the dress. And we're designing librarian workwear. And we can see here all of these different. Oh, Gothic. That's gonna be fun to do a Gothic one later. Romantic, uncomfortable workwear. Professional, casual, cute. All of these different kind of vibes that as we change our settings here, you're gonna see they have different effects. So, obviously, a milk made bodice. Bodice. I think it's pronounced bodice. Let's double check, though, because I like to say bodice, but I think it's Actually, bodis, when I've been doing the audiobooks. I've looked it up before. Hang on. I could be completely wrong on both counts. Bodice. Bodice. Bodice. Well, there's an audiobook out there somewhere with me saying, bodice, bodice. That's British. What's American? Bodice. Bodice. Bodice on the body. Okay. Milk made bodice. As you can see, that's less professional than some of the other stuff that you can have. Sweetheart. Strapless. And we're gonna unlock other stuff. Let's go with. The most professional seems to be the princess scoop or square. Let's go with the princess bodice drag fabric to test how it fits the client's needs. So we've only got two fabrics at the moment. I've got charcoal cotton and cool gray linen, which adds more points to these different tags here. And we can use a pencil to try different colors out for her work wear here. Just colour it in and try different colours in different places. Now, there's gonna be some interesting designs coming out of me in this, because I've got to be honest, I'm not, like, I know what I like, but actually designing from scratch like this is gonna be a really interesting experience for me. I love doing dress up in other games, but actually designing color from scratch, it's gonna be very interesting. What about if we bring the pink up into the sides here, and then the bodice is that we're going with, like, a black pink vibe here. I Love outfits with a collar on. I think we'd definitely go with a collar, especially because that's adding professionalism. A Peter Pan collar, that's called cute. We can decide if we want sleeves or not now. Thinking of a librarian. I'm thinking, oh, my god. That's called a peasant sleeve. How rude. A librarian. I think we could go with, like, a short puff, actually, and have that. Would that be white or would that be black to match? See, that looks weird. What if it's pink to match the dress? I think that looks quite nice. We'll go with that for now. So we're meeting the professional requirements, and it's day wear, work wear. I think we're just over the work wear requirement. We'll go with this. What's made the. What would do more work wear? Different sleeves. I think we go with that. I'm happy with that for now. For our first one, now you need to adjust the mannequin to match your client's measurements. Drag the measuring tape onto the mannequin. So now we adjust, put it in place, and turn these gears. So this is the waist. We want to go 68. So I'm gonna leave the music on for a bit because it's nice. And then as we get further into it, I'll probably go with sounds only, so we can bring the music down and have. I don't want it to be too loud, but I want you to hear the lovely sounds of Everything as well as we're turning and sewing all those kinds of things. 68.7. Perfect. It's come down to the hips. Do 95.8. Why do I feel like I should record a specific ASMR? Just going to measure the hips now. Clicking, clicking away to get the right measurements for your dress. Princess. Oh, your Majesty, you will look so fine in this POV. You're being fitted for your coronation dress as a princess of a faraway fairy kingdom. Up to the bust. And your kingdom shall be fit to bust when you are queen. My dear, I, your loyal advisor and fashion designer jester and whatever you need me to be. Mom. There we go. We've got perfect mannequin accuracy. Make a move forward, cat. Oh, so cute. Adorable. A cat's purr is my favorite sound in the world. Buy fabric for making the dresses. Buy. Fab. Try. Buy. You should try. Buy fabrics appropriate to your clients desires. Try and find ones that are tagged as professional. Filter the options and click the filter button. Okay, let's put the music back up on smidge so in here we can filter through. Let's go. What's the Gothic ones like? I just want to see. Nice. Looking forward to doing a Gothic dress. Let's do professional. And so even though I've coloured in testing colours on my sketchbook, I have to find if I want to match up with. If I want to continue with that patterns that kind of Fit that fabrics, I should say. And I like this black wool pin stripe. Oh, poker. Do you like polka dots? What if we could do, like, maybe do, like, a poker bodice? Bodice. Let's get 4 meters of that. Says get at least 5 to be safe. Use it later. But we're going to get different fabrics here, so if that's just the bodice, we probably don't actually need that much. And then for the rest, we want kind of a pink. That we were doing. I think. I love argyle. Argyle. So good. Black plaid. I always said this is played. It just looks like it should be said played, but it's plaid, apparently. Storm gray. What a cool color name. Cool. Gray linen. Going full Bob Ross on this one. Blush pink, linen. Cerulean blue, white. Let's go with, um, I think the blush pink. And 5 of those we're using. Probably use quite a lot of pink in my designs, honestly. And we've even got an accessories. I love how that changes over. The drawer flips over beautifully with an animation, and we've suddenly got bow ties and buttons and tiara lace. Is that a corsage? Silk flower? A chunky bow? I think a nice pink bow on there. By a couple of bows, different colors. We'll see how we go. So now we're going to actually cut the patterns out of the fabric, which is when stuff starts to get really interesting. I mean, that's Such a satisfying. That's the sound of the. Just opening up the linen and we start to cut the patterns in. So this is. We're doing the skirts. We pull this over to our fabric, and adjusting the grain horizontally results in a higher quality garment, and we want to be high quality. It's a high quality boutique establishment taking very specific commissions from very specific customers. This is not Primark, ma'am. This is the Ombrelle dress boutique. Do get yourself comfortable. Let us know everything that you need. I'll be more than happy to assist with all your dress needs. I love the idea of making stuff. Now, I'm not someone who's particularly crafty myself, so stuff like this, but I. I really appreciate the craftsmanship and the work of everything that goes into stuff like this. Like, I love seeing cosplayers who have made their own cosplays, and, like, that part of it is so fascinating to me. They actually really like making the stuff. Select the Scissors and click on the pattern. Ooh, we've got scissor sounds. The sounds of Scissors. You can always recut or dispose if you're unhappy. Let me have the fabric as we start to make the dress. Yeah. If I have so much sort of admiration, bordering on kind of, like, awe for people who are really crafty with whether it's knitting and making things, whether it's, like, dress and outfit making, I'm just like, oh, cause it's such a. Such a Thing I don't think I would be very good at, but I so appreciate people that are. You can discard used parts of fabric to make space for more pieces, holding the Scissors at the edge of the roll and clicking. So I guess that would get rid of that. Let's test it. We've got to go through the rest of our bits here anyway. The front of the skirt, cause it's truly such a skill, isn't it? And I think in this world now more than ever, um, so much value, you know, that is being missed by a lot. So I feel like it's kind of odd. We have to value it more. Those of us who appreciate it have to even more sort of respect it. The talent. And that's what we're doing with being a. A real boutiquey place. So now we're down to the bodice, which we're gonna do. Ah, no, cause those front bits are in this color. So let's test this now. What it was saying, if I discard that cuts that. Ah, there we go. And then it unrolls more of the linen. I see now. So it's the front, which is also in pink. So yeah. If you are a crafty person, um, you have my respect. And feel free to drop a comment and let people know what you like to do if you have a hobby or maybe even a job. Do you make hats, dresses, cosplay? Do you Knit socks and hats for family members. Bodice, back right. So I think I'm just going to do the front bodice as pink botis front, botis back, botis, back right. I guess I'll do back right and left pink as well. I should probably use less material by coming up here with this. I really want to. I've said it so many times. I want to find time to, like, paint figures. Like, I feel like that's kind of the extent of my craftiness. There's some would say I craft mighty fine content for the internet's. And video crafting. I do like, editing. Been editing my entire life. Game out editing, I'm telling you. So now I'm gonna switch to a different fabric. Am I gonna do. I'm gonna go with the poker. Oh, it's a lot of dots for the bodice. Bodice, bodice. I'll get there eventually. And we put on bodice patterns on to here. The collar, I'm going to leave white. Oh, the sleeves are pink as well, aren't they? We'll have to pull that back out. So just the bodice in Poker. Poker? Hardly. Noah. Let's go back to the fabric for pink. And then we do our sleeves like so. And there's just kind of an interesting calm here to, like, actually arranging the pattern pieces. Almost Tetris like as to the space efficiency. And now we just have. Oh, I didn't. Oh, let's use the cool gray linen. Luckily, we already had this for Our collar. And for the sleeve cuffs, like, so. Yeah, nice. Let's cut these out. And so now we have all of the patterns that we need. I love how involved this is. And we can take these back to the front desk and start placing them on the mannequin. Now, I've seen series of Project Runway, so I know what I'm doing. And Drag Race. Okay, so this is, you know, like, old boy, when he spends however many years locked in the apartment, and he. And when he comes out, he's like, could all these years watching Kung fu, watching fighting on the TV, could it manifest itself into life? And he starts beating people up. That's me with dress making. You're about to see a prodigy in action. As we start to place these pieces onto the mannequin. Anakin. Now, if you're asking me, these should be renamed as Personkins, and I think it's high time we did that. Okay. Why is it Anakin? Okay, that was a little joke, by the way, before anyone takes it too seriously, gets angry at me. I'm sorry. So this is the bodice back. Bodhisattva back. Sounds like a character in a book in a fantasy land. What? Bodhisattva back is here. Everyone be quiet. Bodhisattva back is coming. And so as we get our patterns on the front, I think this is looking quite nice for our first dress. Now, of course, feel free to critique the dresses. We Go through. We'll call this dress No. 1, the librarian bodice. Okay, so you can let me know what your favorite dresses are as we go through, as we'll be making a good few. And I'm hoping you'll see me get better at designing as we unlock more patterns and all kinds of stuff, hopefully. Be a shame to peek now, wouldn't it? So this is what it looks like. I mean, I question. I question it, but I'm happy with it. So we're gonna go ahead and start sewing these into place. Now. We'll sew this piece to its neighbor. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Would you be mine so I can do this? I didn't realize I'm actually sewing this with my mouse wheel at the moment as I move that up and down. But really, what you want to do, I think, is just hold space to engage the sewing machine like this. So I made a little bit of a mistake there by doing it with the mouse wheel. And we can adjust the speed if we want to go faster, and we can pause. There's no rush. You put the speed up a little bit for this line down, and we get the nice, relaxing sewing machine sounds. Do you know what it also is? Talking about people making dresses and clothes and stuff like that. I mean, this is a lesson in commitment, and we live for such in a digital age. Of control, Z, hit Undo, Retry. But this is. You're committing. You are sewing fabric that, you know, that's also something I think I really respect with it, where it's so. Such a permanent little change, little things that you're doing, which in the modern world, we don't really get enough practice with. Permanence of the decisions and the designs and the creations. Everything has an undo button now. But sometimes it's good to learn how to live with mistakes, how to live with little accidents and make the most of them. Because it's not just in your craft and your creations, but in life. Sometimes there's no undo button. You know, sometimes things happen that it's not. Have you tried switching it off and on again? You just have to get on with it. And that's okay. Sometimes that's okay, because it's all you can do. And when the only way out is through, that's what we do. Onward. So I love this screen as we sew these in. Look at my gloved hand. Oh, I was yapping. I went off the stitch there. I feel like, um, Sophie in Howl's Moving Castle. Like, I should be making hats right now. That's how I feel with this setup and this gloved hand. You can go pretty fast with the sewing if you get confident. But me, if this was me sewing in real life, I would go slow stitch. I would want it to be perfect. I would take Pride in my work. Which kind of explains why there's gaps, long gaps with the videos sometimes, because we don't force things around here. You let stuff happen naturally, organically. You let it take its time. Sometimes you gotta really slow things down. Now I feel like we're on a train. This, I think, is my favourite screen so far. This sewing, so nice. Let's see. So we've got good quality here, good quality dress. It's over the quality that she needs and the professional points. And we've just got to sew more in. I quite like that. It's not a one button, one sew and then the whole dress is done. Genuinely, the patterns. The more complicated you make a dress, the more of a job it's going to be for you to sew it all together. Went off the lines there. That's such an interesting little game. So when they emailed me about this, they sent me a lovely email just saying, we're working on this prototype, something we've been working on. At the time, the publisher wasn't too sure about it. And it was just such a genuine, nice, human email. I get so much just emails written by AI and just not personal. It was a nicely written email. Um. And just that they were trying to get some more interest in their game and stuff. So I covered it and we made one of the first, if not the first, that they had made. Like Coverage of this early prototype when it was on itch, and, uh, to just try and drum up some sort of noise and support for the game. And it's, like, so cool to now see that people really were like, yes, we want this. And, um, now they've made a full game. I mean, that's really, really cool. That's kind of how it should be, right? Congratulations, you've completed your first dress. Cause sometimes in the comments, people get on to me when I post games. They're like, this isn't even out. Why you put, you know, people have this thing of, you should only post games when they're out, which is ridiculous, because part of the process is showing demand, showing interest in getting these games made. You know, that's like why I did my series on mermaid games and princess games and stuff. It's to show publishers and the people that can pull the trigger on these things. Hey, people really want these. You know, I think this is a nice first dress. Before returning the dress to our customer, let's take a photo. I'm quite happy with how this turned out. I'm not crazy about the amount of pink. I maybe would have done more to break that up here, but, um, I love the poker. Wait, I forgot to do my little bow on it. Let accessories to the next one. So now you get to set up and take pictures of your design. Let's come From the top here. So we're not just trying to lessen the pinkness of it all. And we can change the environments and the light and the positioning of the light. This is a very in depth photo, which is nice. There. See, that's going to look really nice in a natural light. And take photo and complete commission if I do keep working. Ah, now we can add our accessories. Great. So let's see what this looks like with a pink bow up there. Cute. Let's try the black bow though, because I feel the combination of. Oh, wait, put the pink bow back. Yes, that's nice. Because it's almost. It was too much there with the poker and the pink and the white collar. But that is cute. Can you have a bow and a collar? I don't know, but we are doing it. I'm gonna put some buttons just to break up the pink a little bit here. Two buttons on the front. If we did like a. I think a line. We don't have enough buttons to do something like that. But we can just create a kind of Weib and a little button at the back. It's the one off switch. There we go. Now she's ready. That's good. Oh, wait, retake. Not crazy about the back. I maybe would have kept that full pink actually, and just had the bodice at the front. Oh, thank goodness. This is suitable for the library and looks Wonderfully made. I won't have to go to work in the old holy dress. Well, I suppose the old one was more of an unholy dress, if you think about it, because the moths had eaten holes. Never mind. Thank you so much! There's this game where you run a plant shop for witches, but there is a twist because this is not a cozy shop sim. It's an occult puzzle game with a dark and mysterious story. It's like you work in a shop on Widow's Bay or deep in Salem. The customers that come in are asking for your help and sharing their tales, and it's up to you to identify the right plant to give them. There's this game where you run your own potion shop and date witches. And yes, you can be gay. You gather ingredients, make potions, and haggle with customers, all while entering competitions to be the best potion maker ever. It's like the Great British Bake Off, but for witches. I'm madmorph, and this is day 3 of my series sharing the best witchy games. This one I have over 22 hours in and a full game let's play off, but I never see anyone talk about it. So here's everything you need to know about this underrated gem. The good news is you inherited your uncle's potion shop. The bad news is you also inherited his massive debt. And now you need to brew your butt off to save your shop. After you're done for the day, you choose who to spend time with, make dialogue and gift choices to make friends, go on dates, and maybe find love. What's cool is you can actually choose if you wanna find love or not, or just to be friends. You can let them down gently. And all of the dialogue is really well written. All of the characters have their own kind of thing going on, and it's really cool to get to know them all. So would you play this game?
