If you wanna get the most out of your physical flashcard, save this video because I'm gonna show you guys a method that changed my life. The traffic light method is an amazing way for you to remember your flashcard. What you're gonna do is you're gonna grab your deck and you're gonna quiz yourself or have someone quiz you. For the flash cards you know so well, you're like, alright, this is lie. You're gonna put that in the green pile for the flashcards. You know some of the content, but the other half of the content you're not understanding, you're gonna put that in the yellow pile. Now for the flashcards you absolutely have no idea about, you're gonna put them in the red pile. Once you finish quizzing yourself and organising your flashcards, you're going to focus on the flashcards that are in the red and yellow pile and you're gonna keep quizzing yourself until all of the flashcards in your deck are in the green pile. There's actually no way to revise for English is what I would tell you if I didn't want you to do well. So save this video because I'm gonna debunk that theory in under a minute. You need to find the essay structure that not only works for you, but you can also remember in exam conditions. Cause trust me, coming from someone who did language time runs out like that. So the structure I use was just simple point evidence explain. But I also zoomed in on key language or key metaphor. For me I did one of the most niche of niche niche exam boards, educa. So they always loved you to use rise intentions and zoom in on keywords. So what is this metaphor? Can't know. What is this hyperbole? Suggest? Now that you know the structure, you need to put it into practice. So this is why I say you need to practice your essay. So normally for 10 markers, you'll spend at least maybe 12 to 10 minutes on them, but or when you're practicing, you need to spend maybe at least 15 minutes. Once you finish working on your essay, you're gonna go and put it into tilf dot Io. I'm revising with me for my final GCSEs. I'm surprised I woke up early, but I started my day with doing some gizmo flashcards on P5 because forces is literally so hard for no reason. Moved on to do a physics past paper, and I download all my past papers on free notes. Why is it actually hitting me that this will be the last time I ever do a GCSES past paper? Like, mentally, I'm still in may sitting psychology for the first time, and now I'm gonna sit my final GCSEs in like two days. Got a 53 out of 70 and I'm proud.
