The funniest Church story ever #christian #catholic #funny #protestant #church | 44 k | – | x | 3,8 k | jeu. 3 sept., 00:25 | 243 | 68 | One of my favourite Christian fun facts is that there is a denomination called the Free Methodists. Now, you might be wondering, Noah, why is that a fun fact and why are you smiling when you say it? Well, it's because of the name. It's called the Free Methodist Church, which implies that there is a Methodist church. It is not free. And that's exactly what the history of the Free Methodist Church will show you. Around 1860, there was a really big problem in the Methodist Church, and that was the pews were being sold to people. If you wanted to sit down in the church assembly, you actually had to buy or rent one of the pews. Now, a lot of the Methodists were like, wait a second, we shouldn't have to pay to sit in church. Let's start a new denomination, and we'll call this one the Free Methodist Church. And so you can actually go to the Wikipedia page for the Free Methodist Church and see that this is cited as one of the reasons that the church was founded. Also slavery, but that's not very funny. So there you have it. The Free Methodist Church exists because people wanted church to be free. Who would have thought? Also, now that you've made it to the end of the video, you have to pray a rosary. You know, you don't have a real excuse. Go pray a rosary. God bless. | 1:15 | christiancatholicfunny | original sound Jesus and whatnot
We are ALL watching this #christian #catholic #debate #protestant #heresy | 487 k | – | x | 54 k | mar. 1 sept., 22:18 | 1,2 k | 1,3 k | 11 hours? What? What are we doing? Christian Wagner on his channel to distinguish. Well, just put out an eleven and a half hour documentary proving that the early church was Catholic. Dude, how do you make something like this? Twelve hours is half of a day. There have been days in my life that I have been awake for less than 12 hours. We are all watching this in its entirety. 38 minutes ago, by the way. Why would anyone be a Christian? #debate #christian #atheist #atheism #catholic | 230 k | – | x | 29 k | mar. 1 sept., 11:56 | 2,3 k | 637 | I saw a video of this girl saying that she couldn't understand anyone who's an atheist and I don't believe in god, so here are reasons that I'm atheist. Alright, let's hear it. I don't understand how people could look at all of the destruction and war in the world and think, oh yeah, an all loving god did that. Okay, so first of all, we're working with a few presuppositions. You are assuming that all of the destruction and evil in the world is the direct action of god. But that's not something that we would believe in. Christians don't believe that god causes the moral evil in the world, but rather he allows it to happen so that there can be a greater and ultimate good arrived at. It's somewhat analogous to teaching a child to ride a bike. You eventually have to take off the training wheels and let them fall over a couple of times. And once that happens, they will learn and grow better at riding their bike. In a similar way, certain situations in the world, although they are painful and hard to go through, can be permissible in order to achieve a greater good. But ultimately you just need to recognise that just because you don't understand a part of God's will does not mean that his will is now evil. It simply means you don't understand. I also don't understand the whole Adam and Eve thing. Why would god present like the Apple and say, oh, don't eat it if he knew that Adam and Eve were gonna eat it. That's actually a very deep philosophical question. Why would god allow certain evil temptations to be in the world if he knows what our ultimate decision is going to be? To understand this, we can use another analogy to help. If you have a child and you know that they're gonna sneak out at night and go to a party, you cannot get them in trouble for doing that before they actually sneak out. Even if you're 100% sure that they're going to sneak out and go to the party, you still have to wait for them to do it. In a similar way, a truly just judge will not send anyone to prison until they've actually committed a crime. Because if you send someone to prison before they commit a crime, well, they're actually innocent at that point. So why does god allow us to have a choice between good and evil, even though he knows our ultimate choice? Well, because he is just. But then the question arises, why is there even a choice of good and evil in the first place? Well, this comes to the problem of free will. A true relationship is one that is voluntary, where both parties offer themselves up willingly. But if we didn't have a choice between good and evil, there would be no choice of the good. We would just be forced. Into that relationship. And remember, god is the ultimate goodness. So every choice that you have between good and evil is actually a choice between god and not god. And that's why there's real punishment for sin. I hope this helps. And god bless. | 2:39 | debatechristianatheist | original sound Jesus and whatnot

Hypnotization #christian #catholic #learn #debate #music | 136 k | – | x | 15 k | lun. 31 août, 12:36 | 765 | 554 | If you were worried about being hypnotized, would you let somebody whisper in your ear about all the things you're not trying to be hypnotized about? Probably not, right? Well, unfortunately, that's exactly what you are doing right now. You know how you can look at certain people and know exactly what type of music they're listening to? For example, someone dressed in all black with eyeliner and jet black hair? Yeah, they're probably listening to my Chemical Romance or three Days Grace. Or maybe the popular white girl who is always wearing a crop top and has fake blonde hair. Yeah, she's probably listening to Taylor Swift, like, all the time. And this shows a really important principle that the music you listen to influences who you are in an absolutely profound way, to the point where we can make accurate assumptions about a person's personality based off of the music they listen to. So if you are a religious person trying to avoid going to that specific website that is black and orange, well, then why on earth are you listening to music that is about that exact topic? If you're trying to avoid lust, you definitely wouldn't let someone whisper in your ear and talk about sex and other provocative things. So why on earth would you let that happen through music form? And this doesn't just apply to lust. This applies to anger and violence as well. So much of music today glorifies those things. People wonder why they feel different inclinations towards anger and violence after listening to those songs. Here's a good example that might help you. Imagine if you got into your atheist friend's car and he was blasting worship music. You be like, dude, what the heck is going on right now? In the same way, you shouldn't be playing anti Christian music in your car because you are displaying something that you don't actually believe. Now, don't get me wrong, you can still listen to some secular music. Bands like the Smiths, the strokes, my Chemical Romance, certain songs, uh, Daft Punk. They're all great, and I listen to them on a somewhat regular basis. But you shouldn't be listening to things that are just glorifying sin. It also probably would be helpful for you if you started listening to more worship music, because there's also positive effects that you can have from someone whispering in your ear. If they're always talking about how cool god is, then you're gonna start to think about that more. If you need a good playlist, here is a really, really good one. So if you've been wondering about what you should listen to, there's not a black and white rule, but you should just not listen to things that you wouldn't have someone whisper in your ear. It just makes sense. God bless. | 2:24 | christiancatholiclearn | original sound Jesus and whatnot
#christian #catholic #protestant #debate #pope | 145 k | – | x | 9,8 k | sam. 29 août, 14:26 | 685 | 192 | One of my favourite early Christian quotes comes from Irenaeus. If you're not aware, Irenaeus was born in 150 A D, about 50 years after John the Apostle finished writing revelation. So we can trust with a decent amount of certainty that the things that Irenaeus believed were typically passed down from the apostles or from people who knew the apostles. With that being said, let's take a look at this quote from his book Against Heresies. In this section here, he discusses the church at Rome and he says, for it is a matter of necessity that every church should agree with this church, the one at Rome. He says that this is true because of Rome's preeminent authority that has been passed down by the succession of bishops. So this leads to the question, is your church today in agreement with the church at Rome? If not, then Saint Irenaeus would not consider you part of the true church. And this is just one out of countless other quotes that I can pull up proving papal supremacy. If you want a really good one, go read the writings of Saint Optatus, where he literally argues against heretics and says that he proves they are not a part of the true church because they are not in agreement with the Pope. Literally. Moral of the story is, submit to Rome. God bless. | 1:22 | christiancatholicprotestant | original sound Jesus and whatnot
Go save some kids! #christian #catholic #debate #prolife #atheist | 280 k | – | x | 27 k | ven. 28 août, 18:12 | 3,6 k | 632 | It seems as though today a lot of people try to be neutral on abortion. They say that they don't really have a stance, and they're not sure if it's wrong or right. But at the end of the day, that is a completely illogical stance to hold. For example, let's say that the conservatives are right and that it truly is murder. Well, then this is the worst holocaust in human history. Over one billion people have been murdered because of abortion. And you not standing up against that makes you just as bad as the people murdering those children. But let's say that the liberals are correct and that abortion is actually a really good thing. Well, that means that the conservatives are restricting healthcare and infringing upon human rights. That is also very serious, and you would need to stand up to that. There are certain topics in politics today that you can't be neutral on. That's simply not allowed. If either side is correct, then the opposing side is some of the worst people to ever exist. And that's why it's so important to study these topics and truly learn where you stand. As a Christian myself, it absolutely breaks my heart to see Christians who are indifferent to abortion, because that's a human being made in the image of god that is being killed because somebody doesn't want them. So, no, you can't be neutral to abortion. You need to take a stance. God bless. | 1:21 | christiancatholicdebate | original sound Jesus and whatnot

tag joe for me #christian #debate #atheist #catholic #atheism | 2,4 M | 4.2× | x | 282 k | jeu. 27 août, 17:15 | 8,3 k | 2,1 k | Joe Bart responded to me asking to have a conversation with him. Let's watch it. Have you seen, uh, Jesus and what not? Pretty much TikTok theological space. He said, you want that theological conversation with you? I'm probably not gonna debate him now. I saw a lot of people go, oh, he's gonna destroy you. This and that. I don't think that I'm really at a point where I care about debating anybody. I share my take on why I believe what I believe. I think it could be, you know, a conversation. But a lot of the time when I have people that reach out to me that want to talk to me about what I believe, it's less because they care about what I believe and they wanna change my opinion, and a lot of the time more about, like, they want to share their opinion with my audience. And so I tend to just not debate people because it's like, why? I just don't see a point, you know, if he's not gonna change my opinion, I'm not gonna change his. Is it gonna be a productive conversation? Potentially. But he's gonna say everything that I've heard, I'm gonna say everything that he's heard. It's just like, I don't know. I'm not, I don't really talk, like, and a lot of people are like, dude, you just tries to make people atheist. I'm like, no, I don't. I, I, I would say Yeah, a lot of people say I'm an atheist. I would say I'm more agnostic in a sense of, like, I don't deny the existence of a god, I just don't believe in any organized religion. Now, to be honest, this was pretty upsetting to hear because I feel like my position and my goals were misconstrued a little bit. Joe, if you're watching this, I would like to clarify that I was actually willing to have a private conversation. I'm not necessarily interested in preaching to your audience. I just wanted to talk to you because you seem like a cool guy and I think we could learn from each other. While it is true that I do debates that sometimes get heated, I'm also really good at just having peaceful discussions. If you don't believe me, go watch my recent discussion with Stuart Connectly. And one of the main reasons I wanted to talk to you, Joe, specifically, is because you have been unfortunate enough to hear the arguments of a messenger of truth who is preaching a false gospel and also has no idea what he's talking about. I feel like you have been done a disservice by having a messenger of truth misrepresent the Bible and the Christian faith to you. And I am a Catholic, so I have very different viewpoints on how the world works and what I believe is good and bad. So if you are willing, please respond to one of my Messages so that we can have a public or private conversation. I genuinely just want to talk to you. Oh, and one more thing. People watching this video, please stop telling other people that I'm going to destroy them. That is literally never my goal in any debate. I am only doing this so that I can further spread what I believe to be the truth. Thank you and god bless. | 2:16 | christiandebateatheist | original sound Jesus and whatnot

What happens to babies who aren’t baptized? #christian #catholic #debate #protestant #atheist | 423 k | – | x | 35 k | mar. 25 août, 22:50 | 3,2 k | 904 | If baptism is necessary for salvation, what happens to unbaptized infants and children who are aborted? Well, the Catholic Church doesn't have a specific dogmatic declaration on what happens to these children. There isn't one universal position that you have to hold to. However, there are some guidelines that you have to follow. The first thing to note comes from the council of Florence that anyone who dies with original sin goes to hell. That is a 100% true statement. We can also say, as a general rule, anybody who is not baptized will die with original sin. However, there are small exceptions to this rule. God can, in certain circumstances, have extraordinary mercy and work beyond the sacraments. And so, if he desires, according to his own goodness, he can have mercy on those children. So there's a chance that they go to heaven. But remember, we're not dogmatically stating that, because that is a mystery known to god alone. So, hypothetically, let's say these children do go to hell because they died with original sin. And remember, this is not the definitive stance of the church, but it's a hypothetical. There are two main positions on what happens to the children who go to hell. There's the Augustinian view and the tomistic view. And before I present these two views, I have to clarify that there are two different types of pains in hell. There is the pain of sense and then the pain of loss. The pain Of sense is going to be actual torture in hell, what we would refer to as burning. And then the pain of loss is going to be the pain that you feel for missing out on heaven. With that being said, we can go back to those two stances, the Augustinian view and the tomistic view. The Augustinian view, which follows the teaching of Saint Augustine, would say that the children in hell who were unbaptized would experience both the pain of sense and the pain of loss. However, the tomistic view would say that the children in hell do not suffer the pain of sense, but rather only suffer the pain of loss. I personally hold to the tomistic view, but that's just me. If you feel so inclined by the evidence, you can also follow the Augustinian view. The church hasn't said that either one is wrong or right. Now, typically when this topic is brought up, a lot of people say, every single infant will go to heaven. But remember, that's not really something that you can say. The salvation of those children is left up to god alone, and you should never try to speak on his behalf. We can certainly hope for their salvation and say that there is a real chance that they go to heaven. We should never put a blanket statement over the salvation of so many different people. So with that being said, stop aborting your children and go baptize your Infants, god bless | 2:45 | christiancatholicdebate | original sound Jesus and whatnot
Ridiculous dude. #christian #catholic #debate #prolife #deanwithers | 196 k | – | x | 16 k | mar. 25 août, 11:43 | 512 | 136 | Let's watch this video together. Found out that Dean Withers is dealing with false grape accusations and I just wanted to say right now, if any of my followers contribute to those false accusations going up saying that he did this when it's very clear that he did not do anything remotely close to that. I think Dean it does some terrible things. I think pushing support for the unaliving of children is really, really bad, but that does not mean that he has to deal with false accusations. You will never find a video of a Democrat sticking up for any Republican content creators or politicians. You will never see it. This weak ass Republican influencer I've never even heard of, never even seen in my life is sticking up for Dean. And he just admitted that Dean literally advocates for some abortion, but he's gonna stick up for him about this false allegation? Cause a false allegation is just way worse than, you know, promoting some abortion. I just don't get why Republicans are so weak. It's so true that we are weak. Democrats are ruthless. This kid is literally sticking up for Dean when Dean promotes the most degenerate policies imaginable. Republicans actually have morals and that's why this guy can't help himself but stick up for Dean. The fucking biggest content creator on the left, the best debater on the left, and he's sticking up for him? I'm not saying Dean is guilty or did anything Wrong here. I'm just saying like, you should just keep your mouth shut and not even help Dino at all. Hey there, I'm the weak ass Republican influencer. Except I'm not Republican. Like, at all. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a Democrat either. I reject both the democratic and Republican parties. I'm a Catholic. Now let me help you out here, bud. You have a cross necklace on, so maybe these verses will help you out. Christ tells us explicitly in the Gospels to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. And first Corinthians 13 tells us that love endures all things and is not resentful. Even though Dean supports degenerate things, I agree with you. That doesn't mean that I should let a human being go under false accusations of grape. Like, come on dude. This is gospel 1:01. If someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other cheek as well. You are not supposed to repay evil with evil, but rather show the love of Christ even when you are being persecuted. So I have a piece of advice for you. Either start following the message that is represented by the cross around your neck, or simply take it off. God bless. | 2:05 | christiancatholicdebate | original sound Jesus and whatnot

Brutal debate #christian #god #atheist #atheism #debate | 976 k | – | x | 88 k | lun. 24 août, 14:36 | 5,6 k | 2,2 k | Um, I wanna ask, do you believe that there's a beginning of the chain? Do you, do you believe that there's a beginning of the chain there? Yes, atheists and scientists do conclude that there is a beginning because part of that expansion, distance didn't exist, therefore time could not be measured. So we do have a beginning, so to speak. Okay, so what are the attributes of that beginning chain? I, I explained what happened, why it expanded. What are you asking? we can talk about the ratio of potency and actuality. Um, would there be any potency. Would there be any potency in that, uh, beginning chain that you guys freaking freaking game? How many times he says potency? No, don't do it, don't do it, you'll get sick. Um, okay, so once again, we can just stick on the potency thing. It's not even a, it's not even a bad argument in the sense that anybody could use it. That's why it's not a bad argument. It is a bad argument for you, but it's not a bad argument in the sense that I could have brought this argument up and used it against you and said it was the universe and something in the universe didn't have potency. There's something outside of that expansion. Cause before the universe expanded, who knows what was there? I could use this exact same argument against you. So could a Muslim. So could somebody from, you know, a Hindu faith. So could anybody. This is why, like, it's not a bad argument in the sense that it has a lot of words. It's a bad argument in the sense that anybody could use it. So I'll. I'll ask you again. Maybe you'll answer this time. Does the first chain that you believe in have potency? Okay, real quick, um, guys, we can call this guy potency and what not. Nah, you'll get it later. Uh, the first chain, the singularity, there's potency in that. But we're talking about prior to the singularity. But then how can it. How can it be the first chain if it has potency? Well, I'm saying there's something prior to the expansion that made. The expansion of what? We just don't know yet. Does the thing. Does the thing prior to that have potency? If poetry needs to be a thing, if. If non poetry needs to be a thing, that expanded just for you to be quiet, uh, no, it doesn't have poetry. Okay, so it's pure act the thing before the Supreme. Sure, yeah. Whatever it takes for us to get off of this. Once again, this could be used by a Muslim, an atheist, an agnostic, a Catholic, a Christian, a Baptist. Anybody could use this argument, and it would still apply to anybody. Because it's a bunch of nothing, right? It doesn't make god real, it doesn't make Allah real, it doesn't make Buddha real, whatever. It doesn't make Any of these things real, it doesn't make atheism real. It doesn't make agnosticism real. It's just a bunch of words. Are you aware that you just admitted to the existence of the classical theistic understanding of god? It. No, it's not the classical theistic understanding. Cause I could switch out. I could switch out. You're not calling it god, remember? You're calling it the universe or a being. Wait, are we calling it god now? Are we calling it being? Cause remember you were afraid to say god earlier. You said that there was a being that was active. Yeah, but remember, you can't. You can't call it god, remember? Cause you're like anti saying God's name. So you just defined a god though? I'm saying an atheist could use this and say it's something outside the universe that's not imaginary. You know? You know how Catholics define god? You know how we define god? I don't know, uh, you're all over the place right now, apparently. As a being? No, not potent. Not potent. And you just admitted that an actor's purest being exists. It doesn't matter what I admitted to you. This could apply to anybody's logic. It doesn't matter. It does not fucking matter. It does. It matters in a debate. What matters? I could say there's something outside the universe that doesn't have potency. That's not a god that made the mover move. It's the first chain. That's not potent and it's not god. And then you could not rebuttal that, cause it's the same thing. Anybody could use this argument. It's not fucking. It's not fucking locked in that. It's not set in stone. This does not make god real. You're who. Who said that god doesn't have potency? Who came up with that? I'll. I'll turn you back to the debate topic again. It's does god exist? And you just. Who. Who says that god doesn't have a policy, though? I know the. I know the debate topic. Uh, and then you can respond after. It's just. Sure. No, I got. I got you. I got you. Yeah, so the debate topic is does god exist? And I define god in the beginning as an actus purus being. And you just admitted that an actus purus being exists, and that is a. Wait, no, I didn't. Yeah, then you. Then you. Then you definitely, uh, pretended that I said that. No, I didn't. | 2:59 | christiangodatheist | original sound Jesus and whatnot

My political views #christian #catholic #debate #politics #prolife | 643 k | – | x | 94 k | dim. 23 août, 17:15 | 4,6 k | 2,5 k | Since I've been debating a lot of Liberal people lately, I've had a lot of people comparing me to the Republican side of politics. Let me clarify real quick. I am not a Democrat, but I'm also not a Republican. I think that both parties are very, very corrupted and neither represent my views well. I think that Donald Trump is probably the worst president the United States has ever had. I do not support open borders, but I also believe in border reform. I do not support indiscriminate mass deportation, but I do believe in some forms of deportation. I think that abortion should be banned without exception, and I believe that acting on homosexuality is gravely sinful. Furthermore, I believe that the nation state of Israel is objectively evil. I believe in free healthcare provided by the government in certain cases. And finally, I believe in the death penalty in very, very limited situations. But as a general rule, I reject the death penalty. So before the Democrats try to claim me or the Republicans try and claim me, let me clarify. I am not a Democrat. I am not a Republican. I am a Catholic. God bless. | 1:12 | christiancatholicdebate | original sound Jesus and whatnot

@needGod.net this is bad man #christian #catholic #debate #protestant #atheist | 530 k | – | x | 67 k | sam. 22 août, 16:54 | 2,1 k | 898 | So a very famous atheist named Joe Schmid just converted to Christianity and need god.net is upset about it. If you're not aware, this guy Joe has been an atheist for a really long time, but he was recently convinced of Catholic miracle claims, so he decided to convert to Catholicism publicly. Pretty much the entire internet was very excited about his conversion. Except for needgod.net, who says that people need to be discerning about celebrating his conversion because he's going into bad theology in the Catholic Church now. I was upset about this comment, so I called him out on it publicly, saying that this should not be our response to somebody converting to Christianity and saying that they believe that Jesus Christ is god, for example. I think that Protestantism has some very problematic theology, but I would still be really excited if an atheist became Protestant because that means he's one step closer to the fullness of the truth. However, needgod.net actually disagreed and said that Joe is going from the frying pan into the fire, implying that it's worse to be Catholic than to not believe in god at all. And since I know that Ryan is probably going to see this video, I have a question for you. Joe did not believe in god and now he is professing that Jesus Christ is Lord is god that died on the cross for his sins. But since you disagree with him on a few theological topics, You think that that's worse than atheism? Is that real? Again, I think denominations are very important, and I hope that everyone can become Catholic. But that doesn't mean that I need to get upset when somebody converts from not believing in god to believing in god. That's still an overall good thing. Ryan, I'm looking forward to hearing your explanation of this, because this is really concerning stuff. God bless. | 1:50 | christiancatholicdebate | original sound Jesus and whatnot |
