Timing is everything in life and astrology And every once in a while, we come across a new moon that gives us hyper specific, advantageous times to set intentions. And the Libra New Moon tomorrow has a secret window of time that you should be using to write down your hopes, dreams and aspirations for the upcoming lunar cycle. As a reminder, the phases of the moon correspond with an energetic crescendo in the first half of the cycle, with the energy peaking on the full moon which is the halfway point of the cycle, followed by a slow dissipation of the energy in the second half. Symbolically, when the sun and moon align on a new moon, the moon is invisible and gives us a container to establish our goals and intentions. Then, by the time of the full moon, we might as well show it here The moon, which represents the feminine polarity, is fully illuminated by the sun's light With the sun representing the masculine polarity. Once the moon is at the apex of its cycle, filled with that light, it symbolizes our intentions bearing fruit. And at that point, we're really ebbing and flowing with the rest of nature. And generally, it's best to set intentions around the time of the occurrence of the new moon, and if it's not practical to do so, shortly afterwards, so you're not planting seeds in the prior cycle which is closing out at the balsamic phase. But sometimes we can find little pockets of time on that first day when the moon is forming additional positive aspects. And I really think those positive aspects can boost the success of our new ventures. So in this case, with the Libra New Moon, the sun and moon align at 8:50am Pacific time. But later that afternoon, the moon applies a sextile to Jupiter in Leo. And Jupiter signifies growth, stretching beyond one's comfort zone and gaining better perspectives. So if you set intentions closer to that time, it can have a halo effect on those intentions, and that can expand the potential of what you're doing. That sextile is gonna form just after 4:00pm Pacific Time. 4:07pm, to be exact. And if you put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard around that time, it can increase the odds that your upcoming month will exceed your expectations. There is one zodiac sign that's really pushing to accomplish some big things in the next seven months, But they will face opposition along the way. Mars will be in Leo until November 25th, and then it will reenter Leo because of a retrograde on February 21st of next year. And at that point, it will actually remain in Leo all the way until May 14th. For much of that time, Mars will link up with Jupiter and the south node. So, yes, with Mars in your sign off and on for the next seven months, there might be moments when tempers flare up, moments when you maybe even enter a hostile environment and have to stand up for yourself. But this isn't your run of the mill Mars transit, We can't just apply the general meaning of Mars to Leos this time around because the stakes are genuinely much higher with Jupiter and the south node co-present. Forget what you know about the sign of Libra, because the Libra New Moon on Saturday, October 10th is anything but balanced. I wouldn't use the word harmonious either. Because you see, the planet that rules Libra, Venus, is retrograde and in Scorpio. And this dark, twisted somewhat magnetic position for Venus will define the energy of the 29.5 days thereafter. Venus in Scorpio really forces us to see what is truly corrupted in the domain of our relationships, finances, values and aesthetics. Venus is officially retrograde, and the first week is a very distinct phase. We've got Mars in Leo squaring Venus and Venus squaring Pluto. Basically, if you're investing your time, your energy, even your money in something that purely serves your ego, then it might become a big challenge for you. But the other extreme would also be tough. Like if you're invested in a relationship that's cold and lifeless and devoid of anything that makes you feel seen, that's also a major pain point. So it's a meeting in the middle kind of thing. Am I making sure to validate myself from within and not relying too much on the external factors? But also, am I getting any hype from someone? Like, we all need a little bit of appreciation. People who aren't feeling appreciated might start flirting with someone else, and there might even be an increase in infidelity. And I'm not recommending that, and I'm not saying the planets can be used to justify those behaviors, but I'm saying collectively we might see an overall increase in the frequency. Nowadays a lot of online astrology content sparks fear and anxiety. But when you zoom out, most of what's happening in the sky is manageable. Like, yes, maybe for a week Mars will be conjunct your moon and you'll become more agitated. But it’s not a complete anomaly or aberration. It's part of the mosaic of the human experience. It's often a temporary phase that doesn't permanently shift your default state of being. The constant cortisol spikes we’ve become accustomed to from watching daily content arguably dilutes the importance of the actual formidable alignments in the sky. Cause every so often, there ARE aspects we should be hyper aware of. But what can we look out for when predicting the events that will change the course of human history? Looking back through recent history, there's actually a single planet we can isolate when determining the timing of periods of hardship or strife or life-changing events. and that is the planet Saturn. It's not like this planet only signifies terrible things. But when Saturn forms a hard aspect to the outer planets specifically, it often coincides with periods of contraction or disastrous events. To give you a few examples, Saturn opposed Uranus during the Great Recession. Saturn opposed to Pluto during 9/11. And the opposition can be especially challenging because according to the Thema Mundi, the opposition carries the nature of Saturn. But the conjunctions are also very significant. Saturn and Pluto formed a conjunction in Libra in the early 80s, during the outset of the AIDS epidemic. They also conjoined around the beginning of World War 1. And their most recent conjunction, at a Capricornian degree, by the way, marked the beginning of Covid and the lockdowns. And if you ask most people who remember all the 21st century so far, they would identify 9/11, the Great Recession, and Covid as at least some of the major crisis points. And Saturn very much was involved in all three. And the squares between these planets can also be significant. Like Saturn was squaring Pluto at the outset of World War 2. And to be clear, though, not every Saturn aspect with an outer planet is inherently negative. We can look back to the conjunction between Saturn and Neptune in 1989, which marked the closing chapters of the Cold War. And actually, Saturn-Neptune aspects can be more tame than Saturn Uranus or Saturn Pluto aspects. Plus, not every hard angle between Saturn and an outer planet is earth shattering. It really does depend on the other aspects involved. For example, during the hard aspects between Saturn and Pluto in 2001 and 2020, Mars and the south node were aligned in Capricorn, which is one of the signs that Saturn rules. So those Mars south node conjunctions added an even more ominous nature to those time periods. And it's interesting, by the way, how the two times Mars met up with the south node in Capricorn in the 21st century were 9/11 And Covid But that's a whole another story that will get to in a different video or maybe even a book. Why would Saturn be the common denominator? Well, this planet is affiliated with the archetype of the grim reaper. Saturn is the lord of time and mortality and social structures. And when an outer planet pairs up with Saturn, it can transform or destroy certain stabilizing aspects of society. It can shift the paradigm or rattle our sense of consistency. Or in some cases, it can help us go beyond what was previously thought possible. Like a conjunction between Saturn and Uranus can absolutely help us break past limitations. What used to be unthinkable can become our reality…in good or bad ways. And with Saturn representing the governing structures of society, including, literally the government, new mandates can change the customs and expectations within that society. Like after 9/11, we had a completely different mindset regarding security and safety. I can hear a lot of you thinking, well, isn't it Saturn AND Pluto? And wasn't Pluto's ingress into Capricorn a major reason for (point of correlation with) the Great Recession? Sure, Pluto's daunting, But without Saturn at a critical point in a cycle, it's hard to imagine how the potency of an outer planet would be expressed in our material reality, which Saturn represents. I can find examples where, say, Hurricane Katrina occurred when Saturn was technically within the orb of influence to be opposite Neptune. But I wanna be very clear about this. We can't blame Saturn for any of this. Like, I'm not saying Saturn caused catastrophe. It's more so a correlation. Now, when is Saturn forming the next major aspects? Well Saturn just met up with Neptune in February of this year, that coincided with the death of the Ayatollah in Iran and the subsequent escalation of the conflict between the US and Iran. Saturn and Pluto are going to square each other next in 2028 and 2029. Saturn and Uranus will meet in 2032, and then Saturn and Pluto will pose each other in 2035 to 2036. But let's cross that bridge when we get to it.

This zodiac sign has been in demon mode for the past six weeks, but they're finally coming back to their senses in just a few days. Any of these scenarios would make sense because Venus is caught in a very odd bind heading into the weekend. It's honestly really f*cking strange. First of all, she's squaring Pluto, so that can spark intense desires for interpersonal connection. (But also a fear of abandonment) But by Sunday, September 20th Venus in Scorpio will be forming an exact quincunx to Uranus in Gemini. That could create sudden feelings of alienation and a sense of detachment Like you don't even recognize the person you're close to. It’s just a head-scratching moment. Like, I thought I was madly in love with them, but now the feelings have evaporated, only to come surging back if I'm away from them for too long Because let's not forget the square to Pluto. Oh, and also, Venus is inconjunct Neptune right now, which can cause even more confusion. But why is this all so weird? Well, it's because by definition, the inconjunct or the quincunx is an awkward aspect because the signs involved don't share the same modality or polarity. So it might be hard for you to place your finger on what's going on. And in this case, you have the sign of Scorpio that's secretly drenched in emotion And then you have the sign of Gemini that's making a mockery of all of it. It's like the more that Scorpio is weeping and dying inside, the harder Gemini is laughing about it. And Scorpio strives for power and takes things really seriously, but again, Gemini does not. If somebody you know is anti-social this week, it might be because of that aspect. Or again, maybe you're the one feeling like you can't relate at all to someone. This aspect could be interesting and that new connections come in and out of your life for the next week. Like maybe you party with a new crowd, or you get introduced to intriguing friends of friends and there's some novelty to the camaraderie, but then you never see them ever again. Your moon sign is gonna show what makes you comfortable but also what you're sensitive to. So just as quickly as we can find inner peace with our moon sign, we can also be thrown into a state of disarray. It's again a very sensitive point in the chart. So Aries moons, for example, are going to feel comfortable when they have the ability to act in the spur of the moment of their own accord. But if no one in the environment is taking initiative, it can piss them off. And they like a little competition, but not too much, cause they wanna remain top dog. Now, Taurus moons feel cozy when they're greeted with nice sensory experiences. But a lack of stability or comfort, vis-à-vis the material world, it can throw them off. But maybe they'll still find something to enjoy because the moon is exalted here. But really, if a Taurus Moon surrounds themselves with the things they value, they really can't go wrong. Now, Gemini moons need to move their minds and their bodies constantly and often they need to be moving around in their environment or their neighborhood. And of course they wanna be Socially or intellectually stimulated. And they're often impatient, and they want these quick spurts of activity. The irony those that if they move too quickly and create too much chaos, or if there's too much chatter going on, it can really grind their gears. Trust me, you never wanna bother a Gemini Moon when they're experiencing mental overload. Now, Cancer moons, they're naturally going to seek to maximize a sense of safety. And they're intimately aware of how energy ebbs and flows throughout the lunar cycle. So this week, during the pre-shadow phase, you might just get an inkling of what's to come. And then by October when Venus is retrograde squaring Pluto, you turn around and say, oh, that person is way more obsessive than I thought! Why are they always getting jealous? Or maybe instead, you realize that you're too anxiously attached. Now, when it comes to finances, some of you might reconsider how you're spending money or how you're combining finances with a partner. Or maybe you say instead, this AI company is way less valuable than I thought. Yes, I said it, The AI bubble might burst. I know you remember just yesterday, I was making a video about the astrology of all the warning bells that are being rung across the AI industry, and a lot of you were telling me that this is just faux outrage, almost a PR stunt and that this is just a way for the established AI companies to maneuver the markets. Because, yeah, it is kind of weird that they would just ask for regulations. And I see a lot of your points that maybe the incumbents are just trying to box out new entrants, especially open source companies. And I know I didn't mention any of these points yesterday or consider all this context, but honestly, I have better things to do. I'm a new dad now, and I only have so many hours in a day to do research outside of astrology. And I'm not sitting here pretending to be an expert on the AI ecosystem, but my Mars Gemini would like to believe that two things can be true at the same time. Some of these bigger AI companies could be doing some market maneuvering, but at the same time, there could still be unforeseen consequences based on AI technology in the near future. It remains to be said that that Pluto North Node conjunction in November 2027 could signify a Black Swan event brought about by something related to AI But in general, October could expose weaknesses in the economy. And with a lot of these AI companies driving so much growth, their poor performance could send shivers down the spine of the economy. So I didn't mean to make this entire video about AI, Some of you might not even notice that trend again For others, it's just about interpersonal relationships. You might realize that you're anxiously attached to someone, that you still haven't gotten over an ex, Or that there's just a lot on the line in a relationship, especially business relationships. Like, I feel like finances are gonna be a big theme. Like, maybe you're seeing that such a high investment is required to carry on a business partnership. Or suddenly money or finances enters the equation In a relationship that used to just be romantic. and with Pluto having so much secrecy attached to it, some of you could look back and realize that someone was just, like, lying to you or concealing something. Maybe some of you realize that a partner from your past was having an affair while you were dating them. Or, god forbid, maybe even your current partner is doing something behind the scenes. Either way you're gonna get to the bottom of what's going on in a relationship or in the economy, or with AI or whatever. Could artificial intelligence trigger an extinction-level event in the near future? This question is swirling around the news media right now, and I do think astrology can at least offer a perspective as to whether or not this type of threat is on the horizon. So there's a growing fear that the increasing rate of advancement among AI models could give them the capacity to inflict enormous damage on the economy, society and humanity as a whole. And we're talking about this right now because Jacob Coxon, a former researcher at anthropic, sounded the alarm in a range of interviews with the press, explaining that he left anthropic over legitimate concerns about the imminent threat of a self-perpetuating AI that at some point could develop destructive designs and escape attempts by humans to intervene. This sentiment has been echoed by others in the industry, and now Congress is debating ways to apply guardrails while maintaining competitiveness in the AI sector with countries like China. I wish I could look at the astrology and tell you that these fears are overblown, but unfortunately, even the planets are foreshadowing some kind of anomalous tech-driven event. So next November 2027, Pluto and the north node will be meeting at 4 degrees of Aquarius. Pluto first entered Aquarius in the months following Chat GPT’s first public release and Pluto's transit in the years since has very much been accompanied by the rapid advancement of these AI interfaces. That makes sense, because Aquarius as a sign covers the topic of technology. Now, Pluto often activates the most extreme or destructive aspects of a sign. And based on the first few years of this transit, we can assume that the entirety of Pluto's transit through Aquarius (lasting until 2044) will force us to reckon with and wrangle these formidable technologies. This year and next year the north node will be moving through Aquarius, indicating that we'll continue to see eclipses, or fated turns, in this sign and the topics surrounding the sign. The north node, known as the head of the Dragon, can be hungry, eager, devouring and pushes us down a less comfortable path in order to serve growth needs. So you can see how the alignment of Pluto and the north node next year could be a breaking point where the sophistication of AI crosses the Rubicon and becomes unwieldy. And the solar and lunar eclipses in Aquarius next year could be the other pivot points in the debate about how to manage these AI interfaces. The Solar eclipse, by the way, is on February 6th of 2027 and the lunar eclipse will be on August 17th. Next year will be interesting too because literally during that month of November, Open AI will be experiencing its Jupiter return which is a once in 12 year event that can yes, contribute to growth or inflation. And in some cases you can get even more than what you bargained for, which in this case would be rampant innovation. Also, why is the subject dominating the headlines this week? Well, some of it has to do with the fact that the recent Virgo New Moon was loosely conjunct the Pluto-Uranus conjunction of 1966. And that was a seminal year in the computing world. And technically the first ever chatbot, ELIZA, was released that year. So this is not an isolated event, It's very much an outgrowth of prior events in a larger cycle. But back to the fundamental question: Does this mean an extinction-level event will be brought about by a rogue AI model? It's hard to say, but the true risks of what they're building will be known when Pluto and the north node meet up in 14 months. Out of all the zodiac signs, only one can say that the second half of September will be the most consequential moment of their entire year. They're building up to a full moon in their sign, which will be conjunct to Neptune and eventually Saturn. But with Saturn also in Aries, they've had to consider the long-term implications of their actions, They've had to consider the opportunity costs. And they really had to establish their latest and greatest identity, at least in a social context. Like, what do you wanna be known for? Even though we can make a million choices and go in different directions, at some point you have to decide what you wanna commit to and focus on. With Saturn retrograde in recent months, Aries have really had to slow down and consider whether the moves they're making are leading them towards a productive outcome. But the full moon in Aries in two weeks is going to be the decisive climax that either says, “hey, you're on the right track” or “you need to institute changes immediately.” So that full moon on September 26th could be the culmination of all the hard work you've been putting in since mid April. Or it's gonna show you the adjustments you need to make to either exert more influence or to find more stability with what doing. And the full moon might be a reminder that even if things haven't turned out exactly as you expected, you can still achieve your goals through that Saturnian slow and steady effort. This is just not a comfortable time for Aries, The struggle is real. The vibe of Aries is like, “here for a good time, not a long time.” And it almost prides itself on being able to jump into something new, whereas other signs would have a bunch of questions before doing so. But then Saturn in Aries is saying, “no this time, the things you're doing have to endure for a long time.” Each of your actions doesn't just happen and then evaporate anymore.
