3 trips you need to take in your 20s for under $1500 #travel #solotravel #traveltiktok #budgettravel #adventure | 68 k | – | x | 7 k | jeu. 1 oct., 12:19 | 35 | 823 | These are three trips you need to take in your 20s, all for under 15 dollars. The first trip is going to be Nicaragua for which is the most expensive part, it's gonna be the flight, as it's gonna range anywhere between 500 to 600 dollars, depending on where you're coming from in the U S. Then after that, your next biggest expense is going to be accommodation. So if you stay in a hostel, it's gonna be about 15 to 20 dollars a night. But if you want a hotel room, it's gonna be anywhere between 40 to 50 dollars a night. I'll just put some examples here so you can see. And then food in Nicaragua is extremely cheap. Local food could be anywhere between three to five dollars. And you wanna, if you wanna eat an an at a nice restaurant, it's gonna be about $10 a meal, $15 max. And then the activities in Nicaragua are extremely cheap. So the main ones gonna be the volcano boarding, which is about $40. And this is definitely the highlight of the trip. But there's a bunch of other different things you could do. You could hike, uh, Volcan, uh, concepci n, I think it's what it's called. Uh, you go to San Juan del Sur, take some surfing lessons. You already know how to surf, you could just rent a board and surf or just bring your own board. And yeah, overall just very affordable country to go To and you can easily keep it under 15 dollars. The next trip is going to be Medellin, Colombia, which was actually my first trip I ever took. And I actually managed to keep it under 15 dollars and I wasn't even on a tight budget. So you're gonna get your flights for about 400 to 500 dollars depending on where you're coming from. And if you wanna stay in a hostel, it's gonna be anywhere between 15 to 20 dollars a night. And hotels are gonna be anywhere between 50 to 70 dollars a night. So you can easily stay a week here in Medellin and keep it under 15. Food is also very affordable here. You get meals for under 10 dollars. But since you're only here for a week, you can splurge a little bit and go to have some nice lunches and dinners and spend more than that. And the attraction in Melbourne itself is the city. So you don't really have to be paying a lot of money to do tours or any activities cause the city itself is the attraction. You go to Comuna Trece and just explore different areas. It's an amazing time. I think I got a beer for like 70, 75 cents there. So just overall it's a very affordable city and you don't really have to budget that hard while you're there. And the last trip is going to be London, which a lot of people would think it's expensive. Just because of the flight. But if you go in the fall or in the spring, you get a flight from anywhere between 400 to 600 dollars if you live in the East Coast. And an accommodation could also be very affordable. You get a hostel for anywhere between 30 to 50 dollars a night. And then you get a hotel room for about 100 dollars a night. When you're going there in the fall. Now it's not gonna be a nice look like a very nice hotel or anything, but it's still gonna be about 100 120 dollars a night. And then same thing as Medina. The city itself is the attraction. So you don't really have to be booking any tours or paying a lot of money for activities unless you wanna see like one of the really good shows. And this is only gonna be a weekend trip, so it's only gonna be three nights. And between the flight, which is gonna be 400 to 600+ the accommodation, that's about $900 uh. With those two together. And then you got about 500 to 600 dollars to spend in three days. Which I feel like it's very doable if you're just not eating out with super expensive restaurants everyday. | 2:26 | travelsolotraveltraveltiktok | original sound backpackingdani
Best hostels in the Philippines #travel #solotravel #hostellife #traveltiktok #philippines | 21 k | – | x | 1,3 k | dim. 27 sept., 12:25 | 15 | 295 | If you're going to the Philippines, and these are the best hostels that you can stay at, the first one is going to be Outpost Hostel in Coron, which is extremely social. They have a rooftop bar, restaurant, and pool in which everyone hangs out at every single night, and people lounge in the pool during the day. They also do the. The Corona El Nido boat expedition with Castaway Tours. So castaway and outpost are basically the same thing. So if you're doing the boat expedition with castaway, then basically everyone doing that is going to be staying at outpost. You get to meet everyone before you go on the expedition. The next hostel is going to be Friends Hostel in El Nido. Now, this is one of my favorite hostels in all of Southeast Asia. The hostel itself is extremely nice. Really nice rooms, really nice showers. And then they got the rooftop pool bar with an amazing view of El Nido. And they got happy hour every single night for a buy one, get one cocktails. So it's like $5 for, like, two margaritas or any cocktail that you want, and the cocktails are actually really good. And they also have a tour agency in the hostel called Hacky Life, in which you book any boat tour that you want during the day. And just overall, this one of the most social hostels I've ever stayed at. And the hostel itself is just so beautiful. And you definitely have to Stay here. It's also the best location on Lido. It's like right in the town, so if you wanna go out at night, it's just like a five minute walk to all the bars. And the other hostel on Lido is uh, that's really good is outpost. The only bad thing with outpost is that it's about a 10 minute drive from the main town. So if that's something that matters to you, then the location for outpost is not as good. Then there's Coco Rico Hostel in Port Barton, which is one of my favorite hostels as well. It's extremely social. They have a boat party about two to three times a week. And they got free drinks every night for 30 minutes. And just overall such a good vibe with this hostel. They only have two 18 bedroom dorms, so no privates available. But that just makes the hostel even more social. And then there's Chief Mountain Mobile, which is just such a nice hostel. Very comfortable beds, really nice showers. Overall it's like a very bougie hostel. And not that expensive. It's like 14, 15 dollars a night. And you can also book any tour that you want through that hostel. And then over in Shanghai, there's actually so many good hostels that you can stay at. So I'm just gonna give out a couple ones. First one being Rucksack Inn, which is very social, really nice hostel, but it is a little bit outside of the Town. So you do have to take a tuk tuk to get into the town if you want to go out at night. And then there's Happiness Hostel, which is a little bit closer to the town, but still not that close. It's very social. They got a boat party once a week. Uh, they got a restaurant, bar. Really nice hostel. And then there's Matcha Hostel, which is the one I stayed at, and it's right in the center of the town, so you can walk everywhere. It's not very social, but it's a really nice hostel. So it's just about, like, depends on if you want a good location or not. | 2:12 | travelsolotravelhostellife | original sound backpackingdani
Everything you need to know about the East Java tour in Indonesia 🇮🇩 forgot to mention that it cost me $105. #travel #solotravel #indonesia🇮🇩 #southeastasia #backpacking | 15 k | – | x | 1 k | sam. 26 sept., 12:07 | 12 | 165 | If you're going to Indonesia, then this is everything that you need to know about the East Java tour. Now, the East Java tour is three days long, with the first day taking you to Tumpak Sewu waterfalls. On day two, it takes you to Mount Bromo, and then on day three, it takes you to Mount Ijen. Now, you can start the tour in either Malang or Bali. Now, I highly recommend starting in Malang just because it's a lot closer. And, uh, the way to get to Malang, you fly into the Surabaya airport, which is about two hours away, and then make your way over to Malang. And then in Malawi, you get picked up at around 5 or 6:00am the first day. And then from there, you get taken straight to Tumpa. So, waterfalls. But before going into the waterfall, you have a quick breakfast before and then after that, you walk over to the waterfall. You first get to see it from the top, absolutely stunning. And then you get to see it from the bottom. It's really easy to get down, same going back up. Extremely easy. Uh, definitely the easiest hike that you will do in the tour. After this, you get back on the bus for another five to seven hours over to your home stay in which you'll have dinner, and then go to sleep pretty early, just because you do have to be up at 1 or 2:00am, uh, to See the sunrise at Mount Bromo. And once you get to Mount Bromo, it's only about a 45 minute hike and it's a really easy hike. And you just see the sunrise at the top. It's absolutely stunning. I would say it's really touristy at the top, but if you go even higher, there is absolutely no one around. So just go a little bit higher. Like there's gonna be a big area with tourists. Just go a little bit higher than that and you're gonna have the whole place to yourself. And yeah, once that, once the sunrise done, you go back down and you get to actually hike Mount Bromo itself, not just like see it for the view. And yeah, that day ends at like 9:00am and after that it's another five to seven hours, uh, on the bus over to your next home stay. So you have dinner at around seven PM and then you go to bed straight after because you have to be up by midnight just so you can do the Mount Eagen hike. Because you have to be inside Mount Eagen before the sunrise just so you can see the Blue Fire. Now I'm gonna be honest, the Blue Fire is a little bit overrated. I thought Mount Eagen itself was a lot cooler than. Than the Blue Fire. And yeah, after that you just hike back up. I, I feel like the hike back up, like out of my agent was A lot easier than get an intramural agent. And then yeah, after that you uh, get back on the bus and go to Bali. It's about 10 hours to Bali cause you do else you also have to take a ferry. And the ferry does not drop you off in like Changi or Buda. So then it's like another three hour bus ride. Uh, but yeah, overall this was my favourite tour in Southeast Asia, or one of my. Probably my second favourite after the only goes to Quran expedition. But definitely highly recommend doing it. And I did it with Bang Bang Travel, which I highly recommend doing it with them. The tour guides were amazing. | 2:27 | travelsolotravelindonesia | original sound backpackingdani
Best Guatemala backpacking route #travel #solotravel #guatemala #backpacking #hostellife | 11 k | – | x | 737 | ven. 25 sept., 13:04 | 11 | 75 | if you're planning a trip to Guatemala then this is the route that I would recommend so your first stop is going to be Flores now this is where the Tikal Mayan ruins are and it's something that you had to see while you're in Guatemala but you only really need two to three nights max here and after this you're gonna take about an eight hour shuttle down to lanquin now Lanquin's where you have Semuc Champey uh the Semuc Champey uh Nature Reserve which is absolutely stunning it's something that you have to see while you're in Guatemala and all you really need is about two to three nights here as well I would say to say three nights just because the travel days in Guatemala could be a little bit rough so you don't wanna have so many of them back to back and after this you're gonna take another eight hour shuttle over to Antigua Antigua is absolutely beautiful Spanish colonial town and then from here you could do the Actun Tunichil Muknal hike which is about an hour away now it's a two day hike so you do stay overnight in the on top of the volcano and then after this you go back to Antigua I would say spend another night that way you don't have to do another travel day after the hike and after this you're gonna go over to Lake Atitlan now there's a bunch of different towns that you can stay at around the lake but most people base themselves in San Pedro which is like the more uh touristy part of Lake Atitlan but there's also Panajachel San Marcos Santa Cruz so you can stay in any one that you really want just do your research on each one and see which one uh fits uh best for you now something that a lot of people do here in the capital is a Spanish school so if you wanna learn some Spanish you could do a week two week three week however long you want Spanish school and it's just a really great way to learn Spanish if you're doing a big uh Latin America trip and after they get done you're gonna go over to El Parador which is a surf town and if you don't surf you can still come here it's very chill uh very small town so definitely check it out and this route also works uh well the other way so if you're coming from El Salvador then you could just you know cross the border start in El Salvador and do it all the uh the other way around and if you're flying into Guatemala City and you don't have that much time I would say probably uh just skip to um Flores and lanquin just because it is a really long journey to get there if you're starting in Guatemala City | 1:55 | travelsolotravelguatemala | original sound backpackingdani
Places in Southeast Asia you should skip if you’re short on time. #travel #solotravel #hostellife #backpacking #southeastasia | 23 k | – | x | 1,2 k | mer. 23 sept., 12:01 | 29 | 58 | If you're planning on backpacking Southeast Asia, then these are just some places that I would skip if I was short on time. And this is only really meant for backpackers. So if you're someone that's coming to Southeast Asia for a vacation then these places are probably great for you. Starting off in Thailand, which I would skip Koh Samui and Phuket. And there's nothing wrong with these places, I just believe they're more family oriented or more more catered towards people on vacation and not really for budget backpackers or people travelling for a good amount of time around Southeast Asia. So if you're just short on time then these are probably the two islands in Thailand that I would probably skip out on. Next up is Vietnam, in which I would just stick to the north and skip the south. North is 10 times better than all the places in the south. Uh, so places like Muine, the Lat Phu Quoc. Uh, you could just skip out on them if you're short on time? Uh, the only place in the south I would really recommend going to is Ho Chi Minh. I do think it's an amazing city. And then another place in Vietnam I probably wouldn't recommend going to unless you really wanna see the Imperial City is going to be hue. And then there's Lao, in which I would skip out on Vientiane. The only reason you should be going to Vientiane is if you're Flying in or out of Laos. Besides that, uh, do not waste your time in this place. It is really just a boring city. And, yeah, you just don't wanna waste a day of your travels here. And then for the Philippines, I would say skip out on Sikihor, which I think is a beautiful island. It's actually stunning. But it is a bit of a hassle to get here, so it's probably not worth your time if you just don't have much of it. And there's other better places over in Palawan, which is a lot easier to travel. And then for Indonesia, I would skip Canggu, which is amazing for nightlife, but that's about it. So if that's all you care about, then, yeah, Cambodia's gonna be a great place, but if you wanna do anything else at snot party, then Cambodia's probably not the place for that. And then for Cambodia, I only went to three different places, which was Siem Reap, Koh Rong, and Penom Pen. And you should definitely go to all three. While you were there. Other places, I don't really know about them, but definitely go to those three. | 1:49 | travelsolotravelhostellife | original sound backpackingdani
3 experiences in Southeast Asia you shouldn’t be missing out on #travel #solotravel #hostellife #backpacking #southeastasia | 26 k | – | x | 2 k | mar. 22 sept., 12:10 | 15 | 155 | If you're going to Southeast Asia, then these are three experiences that you should not be missing out on. The first one being the slow boat from Thailand to Laos, which is basically a two day journey starting in Chang Rai in Thailand and ending in Lamphun in Laos. And this is by far gonna be the most unique border crossing that you will do in Southeast Asia, as right after you cross the border from Thailand to Laos, you get on, you get on the slow boat, which is basically just this really long boat made out of wood, uh, and uh, old school bus seats. And then you're on it for eight hours each day. So eight hours the first day and then you uh, stop over at this town called Pacbang, which there's absolutely nothing on it. It's very rural, uh, not a whole lot to do, but it's really cool to stay there cause it's just rural Southeast Asia. And then the day next day you get back on the boat and do another eight hours. And on the boat you could order beers, snacks, all that. It's very social if you're by yourself. Like you just chat up other backpackers, other travellers and it's just overall a really cool experience that I think everyone should do. The next one is going to be the Komodo Island Tour in Indonesia, which is a four day, three night boat tour starting in Lombok and ending in Flores Or starting in Flores, ending in Lombok, whichever you wanna do. And throughout this tour you just island hopping, checking out pink beaches, snorkeling, seen some insane scenery that just feels like straight out of this world. It's honestly absolutely insane. And then you're staying on the boat all three nights. And I will say for this one, if you have a little bit more money, do not pick the budget options or at least get a private room. Because if you're doing the budget option and doing the deck class, deck class options, it is rough. So if you have the extra money, get a private room. Um, but overall this is one of the best tours I did in all Southeast Asia and it's something that I think everyone has to do. And the last one being the high end pass in Vietnam, which is a five to seven hour journey starting in hue and ending in Hoian or Danang, whichever you wanna do or vice versa, it doesn't really matter. And you're just riding along the coastline of Vietnam, which is absolutely stunning. The roads are very easy to ride on. The guy I was there uh, with, it was his first time riding a motorbike and he was completely fine doing it. And there's no, there's no uh, police checkpoints or anything, so you don't need an international driver's licence or anything. But overall this was such a cool ride to do. And if you're not Very experienced driver. Then it's a very easy, uh, drive to do. There's a bunch of stops you can do along the way. Just overall something I feel like you should be doing when you're in Vietnam. And it only costs, like, $25, so that's a lot better than taking a bus from hue to Hoian | 2:13 | travelsolotravelhostellife | original sound backpackingdani

Best hostels in Indonesia 🇮🇩 📍The Farm, Canggu 📍Layday, Uluwatu 📍The Farm, Nusa Penida 📍Atlas, Gili T #travel #solotravel #hostellife #indonesia #hostellife | 11 k | – | x | 545 | sam. 19 sept., 12:06 | 14 | 73 | If you're planning a trip to Indonesia, then these are some of the best hostels that you can stay at. So the first one's gonna be the farm hostel in Changu, Bali. Now, you're probably gonna be flying into Bali and the best place to start your trip off is gonna be at the farm in changu. It's extremely social, very easy to meet people, that they got activities going on every single night. The rooms in the hostel itself is absolutely amazing. So stay here as you as the first stop in your trip, just for a couple nights before you keep going. The next one's gonna be lay day hostel in Uluwatu. Now this is not only my favourite hostel in Indonesia, but it's probably one of my favourite hostels in all Southeast Asia. This hostel is extremely social, activities everyday. Amazing location. This. The hostel itself is absolutely beautiful and you should definitely be staying here in ulawatu. The next one's going to be the Farm Hostel in nusapenida, which is basically a backpacker resort. This hostel is absolutely insane. Only cost like seven or eight dollars a night. It's overlooking the the ocean. Absolutely insane. You got a restaurant, bar here, there's even a nightclub up. Pretty good gym. For a hostel. Just overall, this is the definition of a backpacker resort and you should definitely just go check it out while you're in Nusa Penida. And then there's Atlas Hostel in Gili t. Now if You stay at the Farm Hostel in Nusa Penida. Then you get, like, two or three free nights over at Atlas in Gili t. Extremely social hostel. They got boat tours every single day. Uh, just overall, it's what, like, kind of like a small hostel, so it's very easy to socialize. And the hostel itself is really nice. You got some weird dorm rooms, but that's everywhere in get in in Gili t. But overall, definitely recommend staying here if you just wanna meet people, hang out and do tours during the day. And unfortunately, I don't know any of the other hostels and places like Lombok or boat or anything like that, because I was staying in hotels instead, which is just very affordable when you're in Bali. But yeah, these are some of the best also that you stay at in Indonesia. Extremely social, so definitely stay at them if you're in these places. | 1:37 | travelsolotravelhostellife | original sound backpackingdani

3 underrated travel destinations you should go to in your 20s. You could be younger or older too lol it doesn’t matter. #travel #solotravel #adventure #travellife #traveltiktok | 24 k | – | x | 1,6 k | mer. 16 sept., 12:01 | 18 | 112 | These are three underrated travel destinations that you should be going to in your 20s. Now the first place is going to be Marissa in Sri Lanka, which is only a three to four hour scenic train ride from the capital city of Colombo, in which you go along the coastline of Sri Lanka. And once you're in Marissa, it is amazing for surfing. Without not that many surfers around to bother you. There is beautiful viewpoints such as the Coconut Tree Hill one. And then you got uh, restaurants right along the beach with fresh seafood and amazing sunsets here. So definitely do not miss out on on Marissa on your Sri Lanka trip. The next place is going to be Ometepe Island in Nicaragua, which is an island right in the middle of a lake surrounded by two volcanoes and it is absolutely beautiful. Now I feel like this is very well known, uh, with backpackers, but I feel like not that many tourists really know about this place. And is absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by two volcanoes, amazing sunsets that play along with a volcano right in front of you. You can rent a scooter, ride around the island all day long, uh, visit amazing waterfalls, amazing lagoons. Overall the vibe of this island is so good and it's just a place that you should go to if you're in Nicaragua. Or just go to Nicaragua, Nicaragua for this place cause it is absolutely beautiful here. And the last place is Going to be Lake Balaton in Hungary, which is the biggest lake in all of Europe, and for some reason, not that many people visit it. Visit it on their euro trip. So if you're going to Europe, definitely add Lake Balaton. It is absolutely beautiful. You go sailing here, just go to the beaches around the lake. There's different towns you go to around the lake, and they're pretty accessible with, like, local transportation that takes you there. You can rent a bike, ride around, ride around the lake, go to different wineries, and then just overall, the vibe of the towns around this lake is absolutely amazing, and I feel like it's somewhere that you have to go while you're in Europe. It's also, like, a lot more affordable than a lot of other places in Europe, so definitely don't miss out this. Don't miss out on this place on your euro trip. | 1:36 | travelsolotraveladventure | original sound backpackingdani

Must to experience in Thailand - Chiang Mai to Pai by motorbike #travel #traveltiktok #thailand #solotravel #adventure | 18 k | – | x | 1,2 k | ven. 11 sept., 15:15 | 13 | 232 | If you're going to Thailand, then this is one of the experiences that you should not be missing out on. Now this is gonna be the Chiang Mai to Pai by motorbike, which is one of my favourite activities I did while in Thailand. And it's essentially just a four hour motorbike ride from Chiang Mai to Pai or Pai to Chiang Mai. You can do whichever one you want or you can do both if you want. Now for the four hour drive, you're just going through very windy roads in the north of Thailand. Get amazing view of the mountains. It's extremely, extremely authentic because you're not really seeing many tourists around. You get to eat extremely local restaurants and just overall amazing vibe. So if you're doing this, definitely get a group to go with you because it is a lot more fun in a group. I went with like three other guys I met in the south of Thailand and we had an amazing time doing this. Now something that you should know is that from Changmai to Pat Pie, there's most likely gonna be a police checkpoint in which you're gonna get pulled over and asked for an international driver's permit. And if you don't have it, it's just gonna be a 15 dollar fine. Me and the three guys that I was with, we did not have it and we just paid 15 dollars, $15. So we just had to pull over to a Bank and paid off there. It took like an hour, uh, wait in line to have paid off, but it was not a big deal at all. And then you could rent your motorbike at a Y A. Service in Chang Mai or Phuket. They have an office in both. And then from there you rent your bike, you give them your bags so you don't have to carry them with you. So they'll take your bags to pie for you. And then you just pick it up once you get there, so you don't, you don't have to be carrying your big luggage with you on the ride. And if you don't feel comfortable riding a motorbike yourself, then there are easy driver options in which someone just takes you there, uh, on the back of a bike. Which I still think is a lot better than taking the bus, because a lot of people get car sick on the bus just because of the very windy roads through the mountains. So yeah, if you're in Thailand, definitely try to do this if you get the chance, cause it is one of my favourite activities I did while I was there. | 1:36 | traveltraveltiktokthailand | original sound backpackingdani
3 experiences I wish I did in Southeast Asia #travel #traveltiktok #solotravel #southeastasia #budgettravel | 71 k | – | x | 6 k | sam. 5 sept., 11:59 | 40 | 751 | So I spent six months travelling around Southeast Asia and these are three experiences I seriously regret missing out on, and the last one is easily my biggest regret. So stay until the end. And number one was the four day, three night Balabac Island tour in the Philippines. Now Balabac is way down in the southern part of Palawan and it's known for its insanely remote beaches, crystal clear water and huge white sandbars. Now this tour takes you island hopping for four days where you can swim, snorkel, explore different islands and camp along the beaches. It honestly looks like one of those places that doesn't even feel real. So definitely don't miss out. Don't miss out on this when you're in the Philippines. Now the second one is a Gibbons experience in Laos, which is a multi day jungle adventure where you stay in treehouses built above the forest and travel between them using using a massive network of ziplines. Now in this tour you're surrounded by jungle, hiking through the forest, looking for wildlife and getting insane views from above the trees. It's basically like turning the jungle into your own hotel and it just looks absolutely insane and I just wish I did this. So if. If you're in Maui, make sure you don't miss out on this, even though it is a bit expensive. But if I could go back and only do one of these experiences, it would be the third one, which Is the TAC Hack and Paxi Loop in Laos. And these are multi day motorbike adventures through some of the most incredible parts of Laos. It's very similar to the Ha Long Loop as you get mountains, caves, waterfalls and small villages and some incredible roads where the journey itself is the experience. And what makes these loops so appealing is that you're not just going from one tourist attraction to another, you're literally riding through Laos and discovering, discovering new places along the way. And it just looks absolutely amazing. Does not look like a tourist trap at all. Looks. Looks like it would be a lot more authentic than the Hainan Loop. So it's just something that I wish I did while I was in Laos and I cannot believe that I missed it. | 1:38 | traveltraveltiktoksolotravel | original sound backpackingdani
3 trips you should take while you’re young and broke part 2 #travel #traveltiktok #solotravel #budgettravel #adventure | 25 k | – | x | 2,6 k | jeu. 3 sept., 12:03 | 29 | 252 | These are three more trips that you should take when you're young and broke. The first one being Indonesia, for which I spent $2,000 and 30 days around the country, which comes out to be $66 a day. Now, you can obviously make this a lot cheaper, and you're probably not gonna spend 30 days here either way. So let's say you spend 10 days, you get this cost down for well under $1,000. This includes all your accommodation, transportation around the country, food and drinks and activities that you do, as everything is extremely affordable. For example, one of the best activities to do in Indonesia is the East Java Tour, which cost me $105. And this was a highlight of Indonesia for me. And this. This $105 includes everything, food, accommodation, and transportation during the tour. So, yeah, overall, you can make this a very affordable trip if you want to. The next trip being Guatemala, in which I spent $833 for 12 days, which comes out to be $69 a day, which I find extremely affordable, as this includes all my transportation, accommodation, food, and all the activities I did. And being closer to the U S, the flights gonna be a lot less in Indonesia. And the main activity to do here is Acatenango hike, which you get for under $100. But if you want a little bit bougie one, probably gonna be like $120. So that not that big of a difference, but, yeah, overall, Very affordable country to go to and a lot closer to the U. S. You're not breaking a bank with the flight. And the last trip is gonna be for the more seasoned and open minded travellers and that's gonna be India, for which I spent $561 for 21 days, which comes out to be $27 a day, which is by far the least amount of money I've ever spent travelling around the country. And this includes all the food, accommodation. I don't think I spent more than $10 on accommodation, I probably spent like $5 on food. And transportation was probably the most expensive part coz I did get the nicer buses which would cost me like 10 to 15 dollars to get from one place to another. And activities are also super super affordable. Under 25 dollars for basically any activity that you wanna do. So if you're open minded and you're willing to go to India, it is an amazing country and very very affordable. | 1:51 | traveltraveltiktoksolotravel | original sound backpackingdani
This is everything that I would change about my Asia and Australia 8 month route. #travel #traveltiktok #solotravel #southeastasia #backpacking | 371 k | – | x | 23 k | mer. 2 sept., 23:11 | 143 | 1,2 k | - | 0:26 | traveltraveltiktoksolotravel | suono originale Sᴏᴜɴᴅᴇʀ
Best Thailand backpacking route #travel #thailand #solotravel #traveltiktok #backpacking | 47 k | – | x | 3,9 k | mer. 2 sept., 13:10 | 57 | 428 | If you're planning a trip to Thailand, this is the route that I would recommend after spending six weeks there. So you're first gonna fly into Bangkok, and from here you're gonna have two options. You can either go south to Krabi and then work your way up, or you can start in Chiang Mai and work your way south. But for this route, we're gonna start in the south. So you're gonna take a flight from Bangkok over to Krabi, or a bus, whichever you wanna do. Uh, there's a good amount of stuff doing Krabi. You can do the four island boat tour, the Tiger Cave Temple hike. You can do a day trip to Rayleigh Beach or stay overnight at Rayleigh Beach if you want. And then from here you're gonna go over to Koh Lanta. Koh Lanta is one of the more more laid back, relaxed islands in, uh, Thailand. So, uh, just go here if you wanna relax. And then from here you go over to Koh Phi Phi. Koh Phi Phi is where you can do the Maya Bay. Maya Bay boat tour, which I think is something everyone has to do while they're in Thailand. And in Koh Phi Phi itself, there's some amazing nightlife. This is where you have the reggae bar, where you can fight other people if you want, or just spectate drunk people fighting each other. And then from Koh Phi Phi, you're gonna go over to Khao Sok National Park. And you're gonna spend two nights here. You can do one night in the main town and then one night in the overnight bungalow. Now this is something you absolutely have to do. It is stunning there, so make sure you don't miss this on your Thailand trip. And then from here you're gonna go over to the islands in the east. Uh, now there's three main ones, which is Kosamui, Copenhagen and Cotao. Uh, I would say just choose two out of the three. Don't do all three. Uh, from my experience, I like Kopanang and kgotla better. So from Kgotse you go over to Kopanang. This is where the Full Moon Party is. So if you're there during that time, definitely do it just for the experience. I wasn't a big fan of it, but you might. And then from Copenhagen you go over to, uh, Koh Tao, which is my absolute favourite, uh, island in Thailand. Uh, here you could do the scuba diving, uh, certificate for really cheap and it is an amazing experience. I highly recommend doing that. And just. Just overall amazing island. And then from here you're gonna go over to Bangkok. You can take a ferry from, uh, Kuala to Surat Thani. And then from Surat Thani you can take a bus, uh, over to Bangkok. Uh, Bangkok, obviously massive city. There's so much to do here. Uh, so just leave a good amount of time for Bangkok if you're A big city person. And then from there, you're gonna work your way up to, uh, Chiang Mai. You can either take the train or the bus, or if you don't wanna do like that for, like eight to 10 hours, you can take a flight. Ah, Chiang Mai is absolutely amazing. It's like the cultural hub of Thailand, so definitely don't skip Chiang Mai. And then from here, I recommend doing the Chiang Mai to Pai drive by motorbike. It was one of my favourite things I did while in Thailand. And then you could just chill out in pie. Uh, pie wasn't really for me, but a lot of people like it, so just check it out yourself. And then from pie you could go over to Changi Ride. This is where the White Temple is. Absolutely beautiful. And if you're gonna lapse after, this is where you're gonna start the slow boat journey from. So that's gonna be the end of your trip. | 2:37 | travelthailandsolotravel | original sound backpackingdani
3 countries, 1 trip, under 2 weeks — and no flights in between ✈️ 🇨🇿 Czechia → 🇦🇹 Austria → 🇭🇺 Hungary #travel #backpacking #solotravel #traveltiktok #budgettravel | 16 k | – | x | 1,6 k | mar. 1 sept., 12:19 | 25 | 182 | These are three countries you can get done in one trip, all in under two weeks. Your first stop is going to be Prague in the Czech Republic, which for me is the most beautiful city in all of Europe. And here you just gonna check out the Prague Castle, check out the Old Town and then try all the different types of beer that they have. For me, they have the best beer in the world. So do like a beer tour here. Uh, if you're really into beer, do a day trip over to the town of Pilsen, which is where they have the Pilsner Urquell Brewery, which for me is one of my favourite beers. And if you don't wanna do this, you could also do a day trip or just stay overnight at the town of Brno. Uh, absolutely beautiful. I recommend just going to Prague in general during the Christmas time, cause, uh, it's a lot cheaper and you got the Christmas markets all over the Czech Republic. And then from Brno you go over to Vienna in Austria. Vienna is absolutely beautiful. Also one of the most beautiful cities I've seen. It's like it feels just very rich. Uh, just overall, Vienna is beautiful. You can check out some castles around it and, uh, the cathedral that they have there is absolutely stunning. And then from Vienna you're gonna take a train over to Budapest in Hungary, which is my personal favourite city in all of Europe. And then there's just so much to do here. You could do a river cruise at night with amazing views of the Parliament building lit up. Uh, you go to Fisherman's Bastion, uh, the Buda Castle, uh, check out a couple of the Thermal bath, uh, check out Margaret Island. Margaret Island is very underrated. Uh, probably not during the winter, but if you're here during the summer, it is beautiful. And then if you're in the winter, Budapest has some great night markets. And the ruin bars in Budapest are absolutely amazing. Uh, you could also go, uh, ice skating in front of a castle in Budapest during the winter. So I feel like winter is the best time to come here. And if you're here during summer, you can do a day trip or a two day trip over to Lake Balaton, which is one like, I think it's the biggest lake in Hungary. And it's beautiful, uh, not very touristy at all, and there's a bunch of like, wineries around. It's like, just overall it's a great vibe in Lake Balaton. So, uh, yeah, just add this to your trip if you have time. | 1:49 | travelbackpackingsolotravel | original sound backpackingdani
Volcano boarding in Nicaragua is a MUST #travel #traveltiktok #nicaragua🇳🇮 #adventure #hostellife | 9,5 k | – | x | 740 | dim. 30 août, 12:24 | 3 | 61 | - | 0:13 | traveltraveltiktoknicaragua | Right Round Flo Rida
Travel experiences you need to do for under $100 #travel #backpacking #solotravel #traveltiktok #budgettravel | 217 k | – | x | 33 k | sam. 29 août, 12:05 | 89 | 4,2 k | These are three travel experiences you have to do, all for under a hundred dollars. The first one is going to be volcano boarding in Nicaragua. Which cost thirty eight dollars plus the ten dollar entrance fee into the volcano. So forty eight dollars total. And this includes your transportation, dinner, uh, drinks and all the equipment you need for the volcano boarding. And basically the way it works is once you get to the volcano, you do about an hour hike up. And it's a pretty easy hike. Like, I don't think like that many people really struggled. And then once you get to the top, you get geared up, you get like a safety orientation. Just kinda like how the whole thing works. And then once you're geared up, you just slide down the active volcano. It's one of the coolest things that you could do. And then once you get down, uh, you just watch the sunset on top of the bus that takes you there. And uh, they give you snacks like watermelon and stuff like that. Chips. And then after that it's a party bus on the way back. And then you stop for dinner and you get like a local, a Nicaraguan meal. And then after that you keep on the party bus, uh, all the way back to the hostel. And I did this through Bigfoot Hostel. I definitely recommend going with them. It was an amazing time. The next one is gonna Be staying in an overnight bungalow in Khao Sok National Park in Thailand, which cost anywhere between 70 to like 90 dollars for the budget options. And you're basically staying in a bungalow that's right on top of the water, surrounded by some insane scenery in the Kalsaka National Park, which feels like it's straight out of a movie. And yeah, this includes like all your meals during the time. A tour of the cow. Cowstock National Park. So like, you get to see different areas, like different caves. And honestly, 10 out of 10 experience. I feel like it's something everyone has to do. There's some more luxurious options if you don't wanna do the budget one, but that's obviously gonna be over $100. The last one's going to be the Acatenango hike in Guatemala, which cost me $90, but I know there's cheaper options than that. And this is basically a two day hike. And you stay overnight in the top of Acatenango, with views of Fuego erupting across from it. And if you wanna do the Fuego hike as well, it's like an extra 30, $35. Uh, only do this if you're in shape, cause I did it and I was not in shape and I felt like I was gonna die by the end of it. Uh, but yeah, this is definitely something you have to do. It is insane. Even the hike to Acatenango itself is pretty hard. It takes anywhere between four to six Hours. So just be ready for that, um, 10 out of 10 experience. Definitely do this. | 2:06 | travelbackpackingsolotravel | original sound backpackingdani
Philippines backpacking route #travel #backpacking #solotravel #southeastasia #philippines | 82 k | – | x | 6 k | ven. 28 août, 12:00 | 133 | 918 | If you're planning a trip to the Philippines, this is the route that I would recommend after spending one month there. So you're first gonna fly into Manila, which is where most international flights fly into. And then from here you're gonna take an hour flight over to Coron. Now in corals we're gonna start the corals to El Nido boat expedition, which is the highlight of the Philippines. It's three days of straight island hopping and staying in the most remote islands overnight. And then this drops you off in El Nido. El Nido is absolutely amazing. There's so many island tours, like island hopping tours that you do. Bunch of different beaches you could visit. Just overall amazing time in El Nido. And then after this you're gonna take a three hour shuttle over to Port Barton. Port Barton is a very laid back beach town. There's not a whole lot to do here but it is a great place to just wind down and relax. And then after Port Barton you're gonna go over to Puerto Princesa. There's a couple tours that you could do here. But the only reason I went here was just cause the airport was here. And uh, from here you're gonna fly over to Cebu City. And if you have a morning flight and you get there in the morning, then I would say take the bus straight to mobile. But if not, if you get there at night, then just stay overnight in Mobile City and Then in the morning, take the bus to mobile, which is about three hours. And in mobile you can do the canyoneering and the sardine run. I had a great time in mobile. I definitely recommend everyone to go there. And then after this, you're gonna go over to secret hideout. Getting to secret hideout is a bit tricky. I'll put it right here how to get there. And uh, you can do so much in secret hideout. Uh, you go scuba diving if that's what you're into. There's also skydiving there. Couple different, like, goons that you could visit. It is beautiful island that you could just ride around scooter all day. And then from here you go either to Bohol. I didn't go to Bohol. Uh, supposed to be pretty nice. I think this is like where you got just like weird looking mountains. And then from there you go over back to Sebu City. And if you want to. If you wanna do the thresher. Thresher shark diving, you go up to malapascua, which is about like two or three hours away. But if not, then fly directly from Cebu City over to Surigao. Surigao is my favourite place in the Philippines. It is a very like surf, uh, surf town vibe. Uh, pretty big island that you used to ride around scooters. Uh, a bunch of different viewpoints you can visit. Uh, just go surfing. A bunch of nice cafes. Overall, 10 out of 10 time. 10 out of 10 time in Shanghai, and I definitely recommend you going there. In the Philippines. And a couple things I miss that, uh, I wish I did is Boracay. I've heard amazing things about Boracay. And then the Balabac Island, uh, tour, which is like the El Nido to Coron tour, uh, except that it's a lot less touristy. So if you have time to add those, then add them. | 2:21 | travelbackpackingsolotravel | original sound backpackingdani |
